I did the fit testing for this pattern. I LOVE it! I agree with you regarding the waistband. I also needed to take the waist in. This pattern is beautiful! Thank you for the tip on gathering first. It’s a lot of gathering, but it’s worth it.

Btw: Sybil in the US is pronounced like this Sy as in sit, and bil as in bull together to make Sybil. I have a close friend that’s name is Sybil. Hope that helps. 🦋 Edit: I almost forgot to ask, do the instructions for the Vicki Sews patterns come in English too? That’s the only thing that has kept me from buying from them already. I am still to new to sewing to figure out things for myself by just watching the tutorials. Thanks for your help 🙏🏻

I love all the Viki Sews blouses so much and wish I needed clothes like that! I would never say anything about anyone buying patterns because I have no room to talk - and no room for any more patterns, either 😄! Sometimes I think of it as almost like buying a dream as a lot of them will likely never get sewn, at least by me, but I think we all like having a lot of options at hand.

I went to a new-to-me Joann one time that looked awful from the outside, in a strip shopping center where half of the stores were empty - but the clearance fabric was great!
