2076 is a dupe for the Nicholas K reversible sweater dress I've been obsessed with. I was already going to try to drape my own version of it, so this is awesome.
I think a hurricane is a good enough excuse for maybe not posting a video 😀 but glad you were able to do and feel like things were somewhat as usual for you, and I thank you. I've made Vogue 1802 and it is indeed easy - I guess you could put sleeves on it. I think Vogue 2067 in this collection is similar to Butterick 6863, which I have but haven't made - yet 😁! I like 2068 in this collection but I really feel like I need to work with what I already have - which is a lot!
Glad you're safe! I love to watch your videos because you show the ones that are similar... Your memory!!! I'm also getting V2081 just because! Did you notice the blonde model is Christy Brinkley? She was younger! Thank you!
Thank you Patricia!!!! I am laughing so hard because I said the model look very familiar to my husband and he said it was Christy and I said no its not. Then you are confirming it is. Wow!
I'm working on it for Simplicity 8418 for my fall capsule. Sew Along will coming very soon. I am setting my sewing room back up after hurricane Militon. The pattern and fabric are already cut so that's good just need to get to sewing, but taken everything back out.
'Ey up ma duc'. that's hello in North Derbyshire, people assume it's just some random slang but it's actually middle English. Ma Duc does not mean My duck, it's My Duke or Duchess and when strangers call you it it's a sign of respect. The fun thing is the way we use 'reet' 'aye' 'ah' 'is it now?' 'now then' 'me mam' 'he's off' 'ah gawan' and so on is parallel to a lot of black American English, apart from Creole because middle english has no french in it.
Secretly my favorite part of these videos is you exposing these pattern makers for recycling designs. BUT exposing Vogue for ‘mimicking’ a Simplicity Learn to Sew…that might be a personal best! 🥇

V2066 has that 1930's vibe. Nice.
I bought V2073 and will use it to make a tweed dress 🪡🧵 👑👠💄

Vogue 2082 looks like Sewrena's Atlanta Frocktails dress. I'll link it, pretty sure she has a tutorial

Nesha, you are so right!!!! I had to go back to the footage of her dress that I caught during ATL Frocktails. I didn't even realize it until now.
Waistband , how about a midriff for a waistband ❤?
I'm not sure how that would go, try it out and see

Please, what event would one wear 2082 to ?
Evening gowns are for formal. I think that you could use certain fabrics and make a summer dress.
@@goddesspa thank you.
@@carolinestagg6807 it depends on the event but a formal one. Anniversaries, weddings, Frocktails, or gala is what comes to mind.
