Congrats on the new boat!! I have had big fish fries for the family and mixed both walleye and smallies and know one knew the difference. They are both very mild fish. We have plenty of smallies on Lake St Clair lol.

Lots of nice fish in this ep! Buddy fishing's always fun! Also no such thing as too much batter on fish haha. That stabilization is mint when the boats rockin too!
Thanks buddy! I have to find a better way to attach the camera to the invisible stick so I limit some of the extra rocking. A lot of it comes from the way I have it mounted

If your going out too do summer smallie fishing, what are you looking for too find fish. Ive been stuck in the rivers and when i go in the lake im lost with where too start so i usually end up back inland.
@@johnnyeeboy1138 I usually start by going to my historical spots…then I pay attention to my graph looking for short grass. Also pay attention for dead bug hatches on the surface. The perch will eat those and the Smallies will be there for the perch. But I would start by going out into 15-17FOW to find what you’re looking for

I fish around Lake StClair and the D.river from shore. I wonder why the small mouth I catch are just green and the fish deeper have stripes and spots? I’m getting a kayak next spring

@@TheOutdoorConquest I feel it. My old town PDL hangs in the garage and gets used maybe 5/6times a year, but I’ll never get rid of it. Kayak fishing is more connected than fishing in a boat. You don’t know till you’ve done it. Keep up the content 🤙
