Imagine waking at night & the boss music coming from a Common Buttonquail starts playing.
How is the kookaburra a haunting call?
Honestly none of these are scary
When I was about 5 or 6 I heard a channel-billed cuckoo for the first time in Casula (NSW, Australia) out the window. I couldn't see anything, no birds, because it was early morning and there was a thick fog. Absolutely terrifying.
I became enamored with the Kakapo call. It’s resonance is so amazing. The adorable little dance and posturing is cute.
I’m surprised Emus aren’t listed.. they sound horrifying
6:30 asmr bird
Gooney bird
Gooey bird roosting. I don’t have a recording, but they were on the island I was stationed on in 1970 and they sound like what you would expect a ghost to sound like.
4:03 Poofesure’s biggest fear
5:05 0:15 1:47 2:21 5:28 6:31
Scariest sounding birds in the world Common Eider: *AAWWOOO... AAAAWWWWOOOO... AAAWWOOOO... Whale sounds intestifies*
XOR RECEPTOR ACTIVITY IN THE HUMAN BRAIN WILL ENCOURAGE A OWL TO HOOT! THE RECEPTOR USUALLY LAST IN THE "THOUGH PROCESS, WHY PEOPLE SAY OWLS LIKE SMART PEOPLE"... THAT MEANS IF YOU WANT IT TO BE QUIET . THINK THE "AND RECEPTOR, MAKING A IMAGINE OF A OWL IN YOUR BRAIN.. AND IT WILL THINK YOU SEE ANOTHER ANIMAL AND WAIT FOR THE 'OTHER OWL TO HOOT"'! LOL I LIKE OWLS HOOTING!!
pov: no shoebill
ITS NOT SCARY AND HAUTING, ITS CUTE
Loved it .
The buttonquail is horrifying but i love it lol
How I be in my girl’s ear:
LMAO
Great Potoo sounds like it's composing a rap song
Sligthly disappointed hissing geese/swans weren't included😂😂 you back the eff off immediately at that point. (Other warning calls in general too)
What was the first bird shown?
Cory's Shearwater are very common here in Azores. The locals call this cagarro
Really makes you think of how brave explorers were, venturing to strange lands with bizarre creatures laughing at you from the trees, or sounding like they are announcing a game of checkers with your bones or like they have a terrible tummy upset 😳
The mottled wood owl should be on this list too. Its sound haunts me to this day! As it is the mottled wood owl looks like a serial killer
The common buttonquail is exactly what I picture the duck billed dinosaur to sound like
0:49 is it me, or am i the only one hearing the N word🤨
imagine being a pioneer first time in a brand new country and hearing some of these insane sounds knowing literally noone is anywhere near to help you while youre travelling.
5:48 the only one that actually freaked me out
The funny sounds is the grey go away bird
Hello. I cant see the source of the recording of the black footed albatross. If its possible to share I would be grateful. Would love to contact the creator (The person recording)
1:32 made me bust up laughing
Lets all be honest here....we all thought the sound that the kookaburra made was a monkey...
Red bird look at you and laughs
Why did you do the greater potoo instead of the common potoo? Common potoos have litterally been nicknamed "ghost bird" for their haunting calls. It's an obvious choice. The greater potoo has been nicknamed "poor me ones", because of how meloncholy they sound. I don't know all thats going on here, so I am not going to jump to conclusions. If you chose the greater potoo because it felt creepier to you, thats okay too. It just kinda threw me when I didn't hear the litteral ghost bird.
Still great potoos have creepy calls as much as common potoos
The Grey Go-Away-Bird is the most aptly named creature on Earth, fascinating.
I would like to include Bubo bubo, one of the largest owls. Their eerie call can be heard from 4 kilometers away (about 2,8 miles) and they are believed to be one of the reasons there are so many tales about trolls and goblins in Sweden.
Australian magpie always tripped me out. They sound like a computer malfunction.
Sone of these sounds similar vibe to the dinosaur sound videos
I mean people mistook barn owls for banshees soooo... I think is safe to say we are a bunch of chickens (pun intended)
The Red Beiled Woodpecker?
The Shoebill Minigun
Btw The Hornbills Are Cute
0:11 Weird mic noises 1:02 scary wolf howl 1:30 whining 2:00 laughing children 2:30 bad mic 3:00 crying baby 3:30 broken glass 4:00 distant lion roar 4:25 old person in pain 4:55 women screaming 5:13 impressed old ladies 5:42 air raid siren 6:12 metals sharpening
3:30, dropping pins, lol
But The Toxic Bird?
Yes...
