I would love for it to be Avenged Sevenfold, Rammstein and Iron Maiden. Three of my favourites. I will be extremely disappointed if it's Fall Out Boy and Queens Of The Stoneage. Neither of those are headline material in my mind. I'm sick of people complaining about returning headliners, like it's a bad thing. Some of us haven't had the chance to see them yet. Im only 20 and this year was my first Download so yes I'd love some old bands

Download 20 for me was the best ever , if your predictions are correct would be worst headline trio ever, ax7 is certain i believe, Queens for me are not headliner stuff , love them but maybe just under a headliner, fall out boy is a no no for me, complete rubbish. I always love to go to the resurrection festival maybe next year.

I'm confused about the bus into Donington village. We usually do that trip every year on the Thursday, going down in the early afternoon and staying until 11pm to visit the pubs. I don't think the bus has ever cost us more than £1.50. We didn't do that this year because of the extra day. Never heard of a free shuttle bus, I think the only free one was from camper van to District X and back.

There are quite a lot of people who are not happy on Reddit. Overcrowding. waiting time, parking and honestly some of them I would agree with. They need to put better signage around the place and I really think they need to organize the facilities better. Otherwise I had a cracking day. Got to see most of the bands I wanted to.

I went Slam Dunk North in '21 and I found it organised and unusually calm compared to what people are saying about this year.

honestly this lineup is so suited to my music taste, a majority of my favourite bands are playing Download this year!

I was well happy with the first announcement so anything more is a plus. Halestorm, Jinjer, Epica, PUP, Ice Nine Kills, Electric Callboy, Palaye Royale out of the recent announcement. Overall there's about 25 bands I don't want to miss, and a further 23 I wouldn't mind seeing.

I'll be honest, I completely disagree, I was very happy with new announcements. I literally couldn't fit a full list of the bands I wanted to see onto my screen when I put them into the notes app on my phone. Literally, the only thing I don't like about it is that a lot of artists I want to see are on the same day and could clash but other than that I'm really happy with it

Personally out of all the new bands announced Carcass is the only one that really hypes me. I'm worried about the 4th day since 3 of the second stagers are ones I really want to see... while all the other days there's not many second stagers I'm that interested in, I just wish that my second stagers were spread between days lol.. Because I would be so annoyed if I missed them. Do the second stagers also play at the same time as the smaller worded bands below them too? I HOPE not because that means there's 4 bands I really want to see that could clash! And do you think there will be anymore announced or is that it?

I was expecting bands like Gojira, Trivium, Papa Raoach, Killswitch and Pantera to appear so was a bit disappointed. Friday is the weakest for me but I can't wait to see Brutus on that day. The album Unison Life was one of my fav albums of 2022.
