What was your favourite moment of #download #festival 2023?
Download Festival was insane this year! Lots of traffic, lots of queues and too much sun!
The bands were incredible and we got up to a lot! Mostly walking, up hills. But it will never stop us going! Metallica, Bring Me The Horizon, Slipknot.... Great!
We overall had a great time!
For those who are only now hearing about Download Festival... Download is a Festival in the UK that is for people who enjoy rock music or metal music. This year we had Bring Me The Horizon, Slipknot and Metallica as headliners. Other past headliners consisted of: Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Tool, Avenged Sevenfold, System of A Down, Iron Maiden, Kiss and AC/DC. The capacity of the venue is between 80k and 100k but this year it was rumoured to have oversold. And it shows (as you will see in this video.)

I'm confused about the bus into Donington village. We usually do that trip every year on the Thursday, going down in the early afternoon and staying until 11pm to visit the pubs. I don't think the bus has ever cost us more than £1.50. We didn't do that this year because of the extra day. Never heard of a free shuttle bus, I think the only free one was from camper van to District X and back.
