    creative workflow, but this can be achieved with literally two nodes: circle node with open arc and attrib wrangle node with P.y driven by ptnum * custom parameter. cheers!

    Great tutorial. If you are lazy like me and don't want to separate book pages into 2 folders you can offset UDIMs for back sides and create a gap every other UDIM. For front pages uvs it will be like this: // Number of loop that comes from the second input in attribute wrangle int ite = detail(1, "iteration", 0); // Calculate the effective position with gaps (every other UDIM will be empty) v@uv.x += (ite * 2) % 10; // Each UDIM takes up two columns to create a gap v@uv.y += floor(ite / 5); // Every 5th UDIM starts a new row And this for back sides uvs (I called them uv_shifted): // Number of loop that comes from the second input int ite = detail(1, "iteration", 0); // Offset value to control starting UDIM position in the first row int offset = 1; // Calculate the effective position in the row considering gaps int rowPosition = ite * 2 + offset; if (rowPosition < 10) { // For the first row, place the UDIM in the calculated position v@uv_shifted.x += rowPosition; } else { // For subsequent rows, calculate row and column with gaps v@uv_shifted.x += rowPosition % 10; v@uv_shifted.y += floor(rowPosition / 10); }

      at this minute 1:11 in "rendergeometrysettings" node in "primitives" assign /yourmesh/ no need to be like " /geo/geometry ". Even when working with materiallibrary1 node asign all your geometry with this method /yourgeometry/. Hope that helps

      @@XavierX212 Thanks, it will be helpful for something, but for what I needed I went with a different method. I used a COPS texture on my area light to mimic the shape of the geo-light I wanted. An then I was able to do light linking with that. Also Geometry lights pop up in the Emissive pass, rather than Direct reflection. Which was a deal-breaker for this strange shot I'm on right now.
