How fast does my Yamaha 70cc Zuma Go?
How fast does my Yamaha 70cc Zuma Go?
Well my scooter is DEFFINITLY a lot 'quicker" than stock. But as for top speed? I'm not too sure... I have read that the average top speed with a 185 lb rider is 50-55. And I do weigh 210, I think maybe if the wind wasn't bad, and I had some more air in my tires we might have been able to break 50 mph but who knows. In my last videos I show exactly the set up I am running so if you have any tips or tricks for me, please comment!
Overall, I still love the way this scooter rides and sounds. If you're wondering whether tuning your scooter is worth it? It most definitely is! Way more fun to bum around town with, especially with that Yasuni pipe!

All the four strokes we have in our collection are amazing reliable units and hella upgraded as well
Thanks for cheering this video is good video
Great video. I had a question so my buddies G10 has this set up. It was crank no start I then realized the flap in intake was stuck closed. I tapped on it and it opened but it’s not moving now. What can cause it not to move what should I check
Need more Chevy build videos
Best video out on TH-cam so far on this carb
That pipe looks 🔥🔥🔥 dude! Keep it up
Definitely need to up the weights in the CVT revs up way too fast during acceleration
A Big bore kit is not going to change the speed because it does not change the RPM of the motor it gives it more torque which will allow you to accelerate quicker. Any speed mod must be done during the transfer of power to the wheel. Unless you upgraded your ignition and possibly got a higher Red line.
he modified the CVT system as well.
Excellent, thank you
What type of kit did you order, like year and bike model??
i heard heavy clutch weights will help top end
The sound is so cool! What jetting sizes do you have in this bike?
Your videos are very well done, you should continue making them
Underrated channel. This is craftsmen level stuff. Lets see some more restorations!
This saved my life
This actually helps alot! tank you!
Just did the rear blinker mod. Have a trick for you. Pull the brake light cover, the floor of the light pulls right out and shines on the plate
cut a piece of plexi
WHERE YOU GET THAT PEG
my old scooter was bone stock but de restricted and did 50mph "2012 scarabeo piaggio"
2008 bugeye ebay 70cc head and 88$ fly pig exhoust 49 mph stock variator and clutch doing full stage6 street race with crank waiting on yasuni r exhoust
What kind of spray was that
One thing that I noticed when you were putting the pipe on, you didn't take the restrictor out of the silencer of your pipe, that could help you a lot as well.
The things are showing it down. There's also a restrictor in the muffler. You need to take it out. There are videos of how on TH-cam. Also, you need a bigger barn. I would suggest a 21mm DelOrto with a 92 main jet and cone air filter, and you need to raise the grading at the back wheel. Mine does 67mph and still pulls wheelies accidently of the line.
Put some Michelin boppers on it to add more speed. Chunky tires are so slow
Buy a yasuni r its way better than the yasuni z
Do you have both the restrictions out of the yasuni cause it has 2
donde consigo el escape yasuni ? 🔥
i have an 02 zuma with the stock top end, some cvt work and a custom pipe like the yasuni you picked up. it hits 48mph on flat roads against the wind. im 160 lbs and everything else on it is bone stock
47mph is stock top speed so not too much dif. Maybe take off if you did clutch rollers and springs with pipe. Add 5mph top end with my secret if you ask nice
@@joeblow8206they do not do 47 mph stock
If raced there befor
Whath carburador you use
Hey buddy! I have a question, do you know if i keep my 2012 tank, the side fender will fit if i buy 2014 or 2019 fender? Thanks man and very nice projets!! 👌🤙🤙
Time to go LC if you're worried about head-temps, pretty inexpensive since you can just buy Aerox/SR50 LC parts.
i got simmular motor on my malaguti crosser cr1 i got a 70ccm malossi kit for it malossi fly clutch i keept the clutch spring stock i am running 3x4.5g and 3x7g rollers in the malossi multivar my top speed was 80km/h
One bolt and engine comes out of bike. Instruction say cylinder and rings should be assembled dry.
i have same scooter 08 2 stroke 10k miles 36mph 43 down hill stock
What happen to your channel
i have the same model. So it has a leo vince zx pipe but the mix pump is still on itbad does it have to be to weld the piston to the cylinder?
You can buy a new pump or if you want to pre-mix the gas there is a way to delete the oil pump
Mine is just like the one in the video and it only has one headlight that comes on and if you hit the switch the other headlight comes on is that the way they are made?
Yeah, theres a kit online to use both lights
@@Nicktheblasian but why is it like that it's got two lights in the front and they should both be able to light up when you buy it. If something has two lights then they should both light up.
@@patrickshannon4516 stock, one is a low beam, one is a highbeam
Just use jum p er wire...bam@@Nicktheblasian
@@thomasalley4944 didnt know that
is it safe to wash engine like that?
Ремень длиннее нужен
its taking way too many rpms you sdhould get a new sports variator and put in some bigger rollers
What app are you using? Thanks
Anything ever go wrong with the bike ?
throttle mod you should be hitting 60 plus . Seems like your not letting it open up all the way which is why your stuck in the 40s mph.
weak !!! my 49cc goes 53mph with an exhaust and throttle mod and removing the governor - I weight 215 also
What ratio are you mixing now with that 70 Big Bore Kit? And what spark plug do you run now please and thank you. I'm building exactly the same thing right now is why I asked
I would assume 40:1
I hope not, 1:50 is the best ratio for most castiron 70cc kits. Now when your going for a mid to high-end setup (11+k rpm powerband) you'll have to mix in more oil to make sure there is as little friction between your cilinder and your piston rings as possible, also keep in mind that the extra oil will also help cool the engine which is nice when your powerband is higher in the rpms. But never use too much oil as it can build up in the exhaust port and make it harder for the engine to get rid of its exhaust gasses(can also affect porttiming in a really bad case). To make sure youre using the right ratio i always start by jetting the carburator right. Them i will ad 2 parts oil every test, so 1:48 1:46 and so on until my spark plug either gets wet or black from the carbon, then put in a new plug and start reducing the oil by 1 part until it doesnt get wet or black
@Dawglesslife please tag me if u still have questions otherwise I won’t get notification
Awesome stuff buddy keep posting man
bro i was 14 when i got a yahama bws and same year put 70cc on and mine didnt blow up and now im 15 doing it again for the 4th time this time with a amazon 70cc but with 21mm carb and 8 inch pipe
Hey man just curious I have same carb and have some issues when truck is off and I look down in carb should gas come out of jet when I press throttle linkage?
Yes it’s pumping gas
did you run it with a airbox?
yessir OEM
and stock carb just with a different jet?
