Do you have example video for diesel? 4m41 3.2 engines?
Hi did this cause any issues down the track. I have a 4m41 thats done over 300k and was thinking it might be time to do a egr delete on it.
Hello Sir, i found your channel from pajero forum website and i was wondering if you could help me out.. my beloved (and well taken care of) pajero sport exceed diesel engine, randomly starts longer (multiple cranks sometimes as much as 10x) and blows out white smoke then immediately goes away, no smoke whatsoever during acceleration except maybe semi full load due to turbo lag. the engine only cranks longer on second startup or later but not on the first cold start of the morning. injectors are new, recently cleaned all intakes, diesel hoses to and from pumps were replaced, but still cranks noticably longer and puff of white smoke on engine start (2-3 seconds then its gone). do you know what could be wrong? thank you in advance.
After I do it , the dashboard work after 5 or 10 min when I run the motor.
Can this be done on mitsubishi triton mn turbo diesel 2.0
Sorted. Thanks. Much love from Poland
Which wire do you insert the resistor on ?
The Blue/Black one that he cut.
You should explain each sensor
Electrical tape! Where’s the heat shrink!
Does it work for Pajero gen3 4m41 also?
hey legend! i have the codes 21, 33, 34 & 35. any help on where to start. not a mechanic at all. thanks for al the info 21 Accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor system Open-circuit/sensor malfunction P.23A-415 33 Transfer position switch system Open-circuit/shortcircuit/switch failure P.23A-462 34 Free-wheel engage solenoid valve system Open-circuit/shortcircuit/solenoid valve malfunction P.23A-473 35 Free-wheel engage switch system Open-circuit/shortcircuit/switch failure P.23A-486
Hi where did you get the tool from ? If you can share that it would be helpful, ty
Great tip - thanks
The preferred way to do this mod is to cut the blue/black wire AND the yellow/blue wire and then add the 4.7k ohm resistor between the two. This ensures you’re taking the thermistor in MAF sensor out of the circuit completely. Placing the resistor inline may not work in really cold climates.
notice engine run abit hotter when egr deleted
Is this fix good for a Mk6 VW TDI 2.0 Diesel also? (Where ever legal of course)
clean your soldering iron may help lol
Thanks!
Will this cause the check engine light to come on?
Thanks for walking us through. I've done EGR delete but I'm hearing comments that in the long term it'll damage some parts of the engine's internals. Have you encountered any of those side effects personally with EGR deletes?
I changed but feels the power lost, so I removed the resistance
@@赵星桥 which one did you remove?
Thank's for sharing

Thanks for this very intuitive video. Wonder if you can help me with a problem I'm having with my Pajero? It's a Gen 3 3.2 diesel (4m41)
Wtf did you just say, dam that all went over my head 😂
What are the springs for on the manifold bolts
Is it very different for a 3.8L petrol Pajero (6G75)?
Shouldn’t need to for a petrol engine - this happens due to the sooty nature of diesel
@@hollandx2 No. Petrol engines have the same problem. Unless it has VVT, then it would have no EGR valve.
Aaaand done!! Now repeat 23 more times😆
Do i have to blank egr with plaque?

if anyone wondering. for mk4 4m41 engine (3.2 diesel). the original solution from the web is to use 3.6k resistor but that was quickly rectified that in warmer countries a 4.7k should be used. get the 1W ones with 1% (not the tiny ones which are 0.1W). for 50pcs you shouldnt pay more than £6. it is basically untraceable if you will put isolation tape around it. a good check is to read the egr measurements through ODB2 reader (a cheap bt adapter is more than enough) before and after application
Hey Rudi , nice work shop mate . Have you done a video on the ever present oil leak from oil cooler / filter housing that runs off the spin on filter ?
Hi,Is it possible to state the part number of the connector or something?
I try but then 7000km, i think the liter pro mile is increase...
Thanks for that help. It's a bit far to drive to come and see you from Tweed Heads 😅😅😂. Whil I've got your attention 😮 . My Brakes on my Gen 4 NW pulse ? . I've replaces thd front Discs and pads but it's coming back ?? . Any ideas ?? . It is the same with my Mates 2010 model ?? .
Thanx for gr8 video, the other day I place that resistor on my pajero NS 3.2 147kW. So far car run smoothly but i notice engine became one idea noisy and keep little bit higher idle RPMs could it be from that resistor?
Does this work for gen 3, non common rails?
Also I am currently working on Mistisubish Prado V8/V9 diesel 2008 model it's a cranks , no start situation , no injection pules , if you can help sort out the problem that will good .
Thank you the information you showed is very easy and understandable I very much appreciate your time , do you have contact details ? Thanks again
I did exactly what you said on this video but the fuel level is still moving about. When i turn on the key ignition the fuel level was low, when the i start the engine the fuel level when up. Any advice what to do next ? Maybe need new fuel pump?
Appreciate this tutorial and will use it myself. Great job, thanks a bunch. :)
Great and thank you. Would be ideal if filmed horizontally…
Hey Rudi , do you have a video on NW fuel guage and range indicator calibration/ reprogram ? Love ya vids mate , as a newby to Pajero you have taught me a heap . Thanks mate
Does anybody know what resister is the rpm? Or can anyone point my to where the wiring diagram might be that shows and labels what the resisters do on this PCB board for the cluster? Cheers in advance.
Legend mate. had a Russian explain this in Russian to me and didn't understand a thing now I will finally get the flaming thing fixed. On a side note I appreciated your self control when you dropped your tool i often watch these videos with my children around and am always looking for clean channels. big thumbs up from me.
I've done a couple of these now, using oven cleaners. Found the Selleys maybe a bit harsh on the aluminium. Probably would not leave that one on for more than 15 -20 minutes. Remembering my teenage years working on old motorbikes, I used petrol to clean everything. Tried petrol on the manifold and it was brilliant. Quicker, easier and cheaper.
I just done the valve stem seals on my KL Verada, your video was a big help thank you
If you can share the name of the shocks ( brand)
What the problem with valve seal
Get's old and leaks oil into the cylinder
I change valve seal in pajero blue smoke gone and I apply rope method
Thanks for share useful video
can u show us how to do dpf delete on ns pajero thank
Ive read the Munji ones allow the blow off valve to funtion while allowing the EGR to remain closed on the way in. Is that the case of the resistor ones also? Additionally, would there be any issues if you took this in for a service and a mechanic spotted the fact that youve disabled your EGR
It "must have been like that when you bought it", of course.
