Good call out on learning to jump with both feet. One problem that step on creates is a lot of these grinds come down to figuring out the right pressure distribution between the front and back foot. With step on, you don't learn that. I think step on and can be good to get a slight feel with it, but probably better in the long run to do a full jump stall than a step on grind.
