Hey, man! Out of all of these albums, I'd most want to check out that Unbegotten one. If you like the sound of Graveland, you *have* to check out this project called Onyxblade that already have an album out this year called Quintessence of the Shadowsword. They do that sound a *lot* better than Graveland did--at least, in my honest opinion! Cheers, mate.

Excellent review, probably the best breakdown of this album I've come across. One thing I really appreciated about this album is their blatant intentions of developing a consistent theme throughout the album. Curious to know how long it took them to write this album, I could imagine quite a bit of thought and time went into writing it.

I think Colter Wall has criticised his own early works for his adopted baritone. They are still good though. I recommend more "alt" country if you like.

Fair breakdown of why you didn't get into these Matt. I had a similar reaction to SV. I've enjoyed the Ulcerate though I think the songs are a little samey- any one track sounds great but across the entire album they feel a bit repetitive.
