For the record Reading is pronounced Redding…
Sykes is a god in every way. Ideal AF. It’s horrible. What happened with him from the actions of David Coverdale. as a result we were given Blue Murder who were absolutely awesome especially on the first. Sadly, John chooses not really to participate in the music industry at all. It really sucks because what he really has to offer is incredible deep talent that most can’t offer. Lord knows that Blue Murder bassist & drummer (Tony & Carmine) would love to reunite Blue Murder, and I would love for that to happen to. Thank you for the footprint that you left here on earth John. I’m sorry that people that you worked with and “the industry” soured you. It’s our loss.
The "s" in Illinois is silent, not pronounced.
Thanks, so I’ve been told.
Chris Degarmo and Chris Olivia both are my Guitar idols
Two of the best
Being a musician and retired medical specialist your wrists just don't snap. So that's just an excuse! He's a quitter....plain and simple. This band had doors open up made excuses for family problems, band breaks up? They must of been one of the children that cried when they were children, this band had the looks and the talent and they just fucking gave up! There's been lots of outstanding bands just couldn't hang.
I had the pleasure of seeing RATT at the old Capitol Center in Landover MD. Poison opened and CC Deville definitely played a great show, he was the king of arpeggios for sure. Warren D came out and played exactly what I needed to hear and how the guitar is meant to be played.
If you ask me Steve Vai or Warren D… I say WD
Not king but the heartbeat. When he left it was never the same and it was all downhill from there. FACT!!!
Just not the same without him. Thanks for watching and the comment.
Top class guitarist 😎
Indeed. Thanks for watching and the comment.
The one and only guitar God of 80''s metal scene ❤❤❤❤❤❤ warren demartini
Thanks for watching.
Excellent job! It's so nice to hear his last name pronounced correctly! No use of AI either! Stay original like you are! You gained another subscriber! ✌🏼
Thank you.

One bad ass mother phucking guitarists!! I've been in many bands myself and been to hell and back with lol "people." Can't imagine what John went through. Respect is thee highest compliment I can say/give towards those who earn it. Big time `respect to the fullest John Sykes you earned it and we all love and respect you as a person and a guitarist. God bless you brother!
Thanks for watching and the comment.
H O L D S W O R T H 😳
❤️🦂 nje nder pyetjet me te veshtira eshte te gjesh kush eshte kitarist me I mire,Michael Schenker, Uli John Ruth apo Maria's Japs.
I caught a guitar pick from Warren at Hartfords Webster theater. I always thought he was an awesome guitarist.
Nice. Thanks for the comment
Considering how many bloated and balding 80's rock stars that are still performing to make a living, I don't blame Vito for disappearing. He knew when to call it quits unlike so many others that just look ridiculous
Operation Mindcrime was in my car cd player for 20 years straight. That good.
A definite classic.
In the world of hard rock and metal, we always here the names of Eddie, Randy, Satch, Vai, Lynch, Yngwie, etc and they all deserve their notoriety. Tipton and Downing never quite seem to get their just due. Being a band that helped shape the sound of metal, we always here about Sabbath, Maiden, Metallica but I can almost guarantee that when you ask any professional metal musician who is the prototype metal band that 99% of them will say Judas Priest.
I agree thanks for watching.
No. 1
He is ET!
Hey thanks for a great and very insightful video post on the REO legend that was Gary Richrath - top drawer! 👍🌟. I got into REO in a big way after the "Tuna Fish" album, and to this day, Hi Infidelity still rocks my world ❤️. Also enjoyed Good Trouble and Wheels are Turning. So sad to hear of Gary's death in 2015 - gone way too early. Still gutted! RIP Gary Gone, but never forgotten 🙏
Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching.
First saw Reb at Wembley supporting Scorpions Winger was fantastic..
I met Warren on a few occasions, & he is a TRUE guitar geek! Love him. One of the nicest people I’ve ever encountered in (& out) of the music industry. Just saw Kings of Chaos (sans Warren) over Memorial Day Weekend. Great show! Orianthi is 🔥🔥🔥 ✌🏼
Very cool. Thanks for watching and the comment.
No, he's a God. Legend doesn't quite cover it.
Thanks for watching and the comment.
Nobody tps like reb!
Too good for White Lion
The abingdon chasp
IMO, yes. He is the greatest! He has a unique sound that lets you know you are listening to the Scorpions.🦂
Thanks for watching and the comment.
Miss you Vito. Hope you are well.
Nobody pronounces his last name correctly. Ahbs
Do we know where the Ozzy spot story originated? I have never heard that one before, so I am admittedly a litte suspicious.
An interview with ultimate classic rock.
@@greatguitaristoftherockera2833 Wonderful, I found it! Thanks!
Mr. Sykes is god on earth
Hé IS underated and hé IS very good but uli jon Roth IS a légend
Thank you 🔥🔥
Thanks for watching.
U JRoth was lightyears ahead.
If he was he woulda still been in the band. Dont misunderstand me, he is great but wasnt great enough to understand he needed to change with the band and he couldnt so that made him pretty one dimensional.
YES
Yes in, nope your out, hey your in,
Some of the best rock out there
I heard he’s still alive.
I'd give you a thumbs up, but I'm pretty sure you're just reading off his wikipedia page.
Cool. But, let's see... no mention of some Live CDs and DVDs, a Best Of, Liberty Manifesto, reCOVERy Room 9 (covers), Then Again...(Triumph Covers), and The Bonfire Sessions.
I hope Chris knows the impact he had. In the '80s, others could shred, but his song-writing, chord progressions and arpeggios were always more mature than that. For me, all of that still stands tall all these years later. Little since has spoken to me in the same way. It's sad we missed more of that creativity but I admire him as a bloke for knowing it was right for him to step away.
I agree. Thanks for watching and the comment.
Excellent feature about the gifted and talented Rik EMMETT. Subscribed to your channel based on the quality of this video.
Thank you. I appreciate it.
Absolutely. Fantastic player and writer. One of the best.
Thanks for watching and the comment.
so underrated
Thanks for watching and the comment.
One of the GREATS.
Yes indeed. Thanks for watching.
