Hello! What is the function of the dryer?... thank you in advance.
I used a Pilot Frixion Erasable Gel Pen to draw my designs on the fabric and when you hit the ink with some heat, like a blow dryer, it makes the ink disappear for a clean finish!
@@saintrogersstreet thank you so much!! 🤗
I’m fairly new to embroidery and have never thought to mix colors. So beautiful!! Thank you for sharing 💞
Thanks, I loved mixing paint in art class to create my own colors, I like to think of mixing thread colors in a similar way. I think it makes it so fun to watch the stitches unfold as they are each so unique!
This was such a sweet and peaceful video! I appreciated your calm and cheerful demeanor. Thank you for sharing a glimpse of your journey with us. And Congrats on the birth of your son! 🎉 Keep up the good work! 💞
Aw thank you 🤍
So pretty. Thanks for sharing! 🌻
You’re welcome 💛
Oops! Please note I made a typo on the leaf petal Fishbone Stitch. It should read "Fishbone Stitch 3 Strands DMC 936 + 1 Strand DMC 3364" Hope you enjoy stitching up this pattern!
Wow this looks so beautiful 😍🌻😊
Thanks, it was a fun one to stitch up : )

How are you? How’s your pregnancy coming along?
@@sharonsmithcambridge176 Good! Our son was born just a little over a month ago and we are so loving life with him 🥰 We are all healthy and well, thanks for asking 🤍. I recorded a little business vlog update where I share a bit more, I’ll be sharing that video next week!
@@saintrogersstreet Looking forward to it! Congratulations!
Where did you get the pattern from???
I made all of these patterns myself : )
This has been so helpful. Thank you so much! Do you have a video on tips/tricks for writing instructions for digital patterns?
You’re welcome :) I don’t have a video on it yet, but I would like to make one in the future here soon!
Omg thank you for this! I’m a beginner but this is giving me a lot of confidence!
Aw yay, so glad to hear :) One of my first pieces I ever made was a house portrait. While they may look intimidating they are actually pretty simple to make, just time consuming!
I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one upset. My small business account was suspended for supposedly selling counterfeit items when all my stuff is handmade. I had a big following but IG just doesn't care about small businesses
Merci votre explication est fabuleuse j ai enfin compris comment faire c était pas gagne
You’re welcome, glad it was helpful!
Amazing ❤
Thanks ☺️

I bought the hoop stand off Amazon and the PDF patterns are available in my Etsy shop!
Awesome 🙂
a very great stich
Freezer paper works with no problems for my ink jet printer! Just iron fabric onto the glossy side, trim to size and print. I treat my cotton with Bubble Jet Set beforehand and it becomes permanent. Make quilt labels that way.
Aw nice, I’ll have to try out freezer paper sometime!
I loved watching this, thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience
Hi. I have questions. Which type of printer is good for printing patterns??A Ink jet or laser printer? Can you recommend the printer brand as well 😊??
I’ve never tried printing with a laser printer so I’m honestly not sure which would be better. I just use a cheap ink jet Canon printer from Walmart. I would use caution if you’re using a really nice printer in case it got jammed or created an issue for your printer as printing on fabric is not the norm for a printer haha.
Tanks ,for video,very good
You’re welcome, glad you liked it!
This is great. Thanks for the pattern.
You’re welcome 😊
Do you ever seal them after staining?
I never have.
Do you save these as a JPEG or a PNG to sell?
I save them as JPEGs and then add them to my PDF file with all the instructions. I use Canva to create the stitching instruction PDF file. You could totally save them as PNGs too though!
Where did you get the sweater? I want to try this, but i'm not sure where to get my sweaters
I got this one at Old Navy!
What fabric is used to make these barrettes and where did you get the insert?
I used a cotton linen blend with a little piece of 100% cotton fabric underneath it to double layer the fabric so the threads couldn’t be visible through the fabric. & these are hair clips I just picked up at Walmart, I believe they were the Goody brand.
IG has been a nightmare lately work with. Wishing you all the luck!
Thank you 🤍
I really loved your embroidery clips work! And the finish work as well. Could please tell the Name of Fabrics you used in your embroidery clip?
Thank you : ) I used a cotton linen blend fabric, though you could totally use 100% cotton as well.
Love these great fun idea
Thanks, glad you like them!
Great Vid. Instagram used to be effective for finding students for my Bodywork courses. However, it's become incredibly labor-intensive and frustrating now. To get noticed, you'd need to post professional-level videos with bare upper bodies🤣, and even then, you might not reach your target audience. Since the beginning of this year, the platform has changed drastically. I rarely see posts from friends or followed accounts anymore; it's all big account video content like TikTok. Reels now have a shelf life of only two days. Despite working well for me for some time in the past, the platform is no longer worth the effort, I need students maybe between age 30 and 50 and moved from Facebook to Insta. I always used to like it, as you could built your own community of interest. But that is some years ago. Now it feels like the guys doing well on insta in my niche the basically doing Insta full time and doing the classes as a side gig. That is not what I want in my life I want to concentrate on the thing itself. So in that way it is also a kind of toxic relationship small business can have with Insta:)
I love how the basket turned out with the stem stitch-it looks just like the real texture! Super cute pattern :)
Aw thanks 🤍 I love experimenting with textures and different color combos to try and replicate the real thing 🤗
I like full sheet sticker/label paper from online labels!
Thanks for the recommendation, I’ll have to check them out!
I totally relate to the star seller badge portion! I lost it one time and it took months to get back due to the percentage requirement-I was in the same boat as you that I was responding timely for every single message, but I wasn’t getting enough messages to respond to and I think that did hurt my shop. I hope you get it back soon!
Thanks, It is such a pain! It’s now August & I still don’t have it back 🥲 I met all of the requirements this month except that my income has been quite a bit lower in these summer months so I didn’t reach the revenue threshold 🤦🏼♀️. Why is that a requirement lol?!
Aw it turned out so cute! Love the different ways you styled it! What an easy fun good deal to make a $6 skirt!
Aw thanks! I’m always down for a good deal & now that I’m near the end of my pregnancy I can happily say this skirt was my favorite one to wear ☺️ It definitely got a lot of use!
the best day ever ! when I got monetized ✅
So exciting!
Love your content - have been following you for a while now since Instagram and now TH-cam. Cheering for you on your monetization journey!!
Aw thank you 🤍
Your story is much closer to mine, so you help keep me motivated and NOT give up❤️💗 please don’t give up girl cause if you give up I’m gonna be like….SHIT😂😂 I just switched my whole channel and insta from mainly being about knitting to being more of an embroidery based buisness and that’s how I found you!💗 So I’m about to launch a complete rebrand basically. Thanks for being here and giving an example of the realistic crafting business…the rest is so unrelatable and it’s disheartening 😂
Haha thanks 🤍 It has definitely been a journey but I feel that I am too far in to quit now haha! Aw nice, both knitting and embroidery sound lovely. It can be so hard to pick and stick to a niche when you are multi passionate, I still contemplate that with my own journey and go back and forth of thinking of starting another channel or adding some other content to this channel 🙈 Wishing you the best on your journey and rebrand! Excited to pop over and check out your embroidery channel! : )
Thank you! I used freezer paper cut to 8x11, pressing muslin onto it using a hot iron, and printed it using a simple inkjet printer. My printer didn't seem to be all that much affected, but it may be helpful to set it to a cardstock paper setting.
Ahh I’ve never tried freezer paper before, I’ll have to give it a go sometime!
I love how you do your “stitch with me” videos. I binge all of them and can’t wait for more💅🏽.
Glad you like them : ) Hoping to make many more in the future!
🥰🥰
I love that you mix different colors together! You don’t really see many people do that, but it makes the finished pattern look so unique and interesting. I need to try that on my next project.
Thank you, I find it so fun to see what you actually end up with as each color and thread lays a bit different with each stitch ☺️!
I was thinking of starting an embroidery channel. I love your content! But it shook me that your name is also Kylie 😂 what are the chances?!
Haha, that is too funny! Us Kylie’s can take over the hand embroidery world on TH-cam 😂
@@saintrogersstreet that would be awesome 😜😂
