    Don't have anyone ever sitting or dancing on that countertop. No offense but there's no way this is structurally sound adding that much weight over a flimsy high gauge steel studs framing structure.

    nice tutorial videos Eddie. Does your grill come with a template ? I'm just trying to figure out how deep and wide you need to screw in your supports to hold the bottom and back of the grill in place? Does the grill screw into your bracing or just sit in place on your bracing? TY so much!!

    • @d.i.yeddie6075
      @d.i.yeddie6075 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes the any built-in grill would have dimensions for the opening. The grill sits ontop of the counter top and holds its weight. In my case there were no screws for the grill just held in by its weight and some silicone I added

    Great video! Have you heard of ConnecTubes? You can build a real steel frame without welding. The system is super cheap and uses steel couplers and 1.5 x 1.5" square galvanized steel tubing. Highly recommend you learn about this building product to use for bbq frames etc... The price is comparable to track and studs. They even have telescoping cutout kits for less cutting.

    I used this technique on my garage door a couple of years ago. Rather than solder to the board, I cut the glass reed switch out and soldered to those leads. I wanted about a 4 minute delay on that door only so I added a relay that shunts the Ring switch anytime the garage opener light is energized. My opener has 2 bulbs so I just replaced one of the bulbs with an adapter that turns it to an outlet. That’s where the relay coil plugs in. Great video.

    Great video..I am a beginner..What is C channel and metal stud..I know vertical ones are stud and horizontal frames are C channel but whats the difference between two?

    • @d.i.yeddie6075
      @d.i.yeddie6075 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes you are correct, metal studs are vertical and go into the top and bottom channels. they are often called c channels because of the shape is close to the letter C
