The pastel de nata filling is a type of egg custard and yes it does have cinnamon as well as lemon in it. The ginja drink is a sour cherry liqueur, it is a very strong taste, not my favourite either.

Thanks P 🙂 It was back in May this year that you tried ginja for the first time & Joe showed us the wrong way to consume it! The correct way can be seen in my Discover Lisbon's Hidden Gems video & you have to savour it! Chicken soup at €1.50? I'd say that it was absolutely wholesome & unprocessed which was why it may have lacked the flavours you desired. Well done on fixing the audio! It made a change by the way to see the market during daylight hours as all the Christmas videos have it for night time. Out of curiosity what`s your favorite poncha and where is your favorite poncha bar? Santa Caterina coffee place is one of the best views in Funchal, I usually park at pingo doce shopping center, near there , its free parking for 2 hours if you spend 15 euros

I used to go alot to that first place that you went, some people call it: Forte São de São Tiago, other called it Arsenal(yeah idk why), its also a beach quite a few people like to go, nice place overall, fun fact: the only acess to the sea there was walking through massive rocks, now there is a small cement platform, but before it didnt exist, and it was a bit challenging getting in and out, i guess that was one of the reasons quite a few people liked to go there

Keep at it P, you'll definitely get there just like 1000 subscribers 🙂 By the way regarding the solution to your audio problem, DJI mics often record to one channel instead of both left & right, so in your editing software convert the said audio to mono so both channels will have audio. This happens with me all the time!

Watched a video recently on TH-cam, on playback speed 1.25, as I didn’t want to watch it on normal speed, then I came across one of your videos, forgot I had adjusted the playback speed, thought, bloody hell, she’s in a hurry. 😂

Sweet cucumber, pepino dulce 🙏. We have wood chips to help with weeds but it's a daily chore to keep them at bay. We also have raised garden beds but that is not a guaranteed weed free option either.

Well done for trying! I was proudly picking up pimpinelas from the ground in my partners garden (whole box of them)...only to later learn that they are no good anymore and shouldn’t be picked.. embarrassing but father in law was quite sensitive towards the situation.. now I know 😅
