Enjoyed watching this little window into your trip to the medieval festival at Machico. I’ve never been but will make a concerted effort to go next year. Glad to hear you make your own poncha, you’re a proper local now! x
@@BelaMadeira Thank you Bella, we really did have the best time and I’m sure you’ll love it (when you go next year). Next I’m going to attempt making a Pe De Cabra 😄
I liked to watch you struggling with the "espetada". After 7 months in the terrible Argentina, I¨m again in my beloved home near to the Coimbra Stadium. Nevertheless, I think Madeira is one of the best places in the world, I started 2023 with the fireworks, and then stayed in Santa Cruz 8 days and visited all the south of the island (including the Monte Cablecar) mingling with locals. For 2025 I plan to come earlier and stay a little bit longer, near to the Pingo Doce in Funchal (good place to eat). Maybe we´ll meet, so I may be can try the poncha you make. Greetings !! 😘
Looks like a time was had. Thanks for sharing!
@@Inmyforces Hahha yes it was a lot of fun! Thank you so much for watching

@@PheepSheep it was really good! We swam a lot, ate at a lot of restaurants and looked at a bunch of properties for sale 😀

I don't care what the reason is for the festivities, but if there is meat grilled on a stick like that, I am coming 😋

We must go there together! 🤩
@@charliesworldsmile Charlie you will absolutely love it! I may even twist your arm to join me in reviewing the food 😁
When is the festival to celebrate you reaching 1000 subscribers & when are you going to make me poncha so I can judge for myself?! 🤣😜

@ 😝 I’m trying to get through all my comments - even the old ones!
Well sounds like they are greatful for the local produce. Where as in the uk take food for granted
To me, the food tastes so much fresher here - especially the fish.
Are you half cut at the end by any chance!? 🤭
😅
Hope You all are safe ( Wild fires )
Take care and stay safe :)
thank you Salil
