      That is a brilliant point. It’s incredible how far we have come as a civilization. I also would like to add that it was such a strange feeling to be completely dépendant on someone else for basic everyday life stuff in the first days of recovery. Not negative, just absolutely bizarre since my whole adult life I am in charge of every detail.

    Grand Trianon is what I prefer in Versailles. White wainscotts without gold except around canvas which are magnificent, Empire furniture (I love - also a little, Restauration and Louis-Philippe) and the magnific restauration of Général de Gaulle. It is Louis XIV, Napoléon Ier and Général de Gaulle. In Empire style is among other decors, Malmaison, Hôtel de Beauharnais, partly Fontainebleau, and in Restauration style, Musée Charles X at Louvre which is dazzling (and, along, Collection Campana, slightly different because of begining of reign of Louis-Philippe - style slightly different - with vitrines of Second Empire).

      You are welcome and wow, 😂😂😂 that’s very rare. Here, you can randomly walk into a church and you may hear an organist play. It depends on where and which church. Salut Guys! 😁😊 Love that hidden house. Looks super peaceful. I like the contrast of busy city,noise and all and hidden spots that reveal the opposite,still surrounded by the crazyness. It's so true Anton,it's so beautiful to walk and watch those incredible buildings. Beauty that compensate if noisy,dirty,messy,busy,stressful. Suddenly these factors don't matter,as long as the eyes enjoy the stunning architecture. Garden was quite empty,I agree. The Games are over now,so perhaps tons of visitors will get out of there pretty soon,if not already. That would be nice I assume. Back to more normal- normal for Paris I mean :). Sinan,your face is looking different. More bright and fresh. That style is good,feels light and nice 😀. I think your decision to leave ME for France was worth it. I can feel you are enjoying yourselves with all that Paris and France has to offer. It's Beautiful guys! Thanks for another great episode. Au revoir 👍🏻✨️🇫🇷

    Was there a balcony for Marie Antionette or only chairs on the floor? The stage scenery looked awesome. I don’t want to say I was envious, but I was envious. lol

    • @AntonandSinan
      @AntonandSinan หลายเดือนก่อน

      Excellent question, there was no balcony and the royal couple would just take the central bench. It was a theatre for the Queen’s private use, so it was much more intimate than one would expect. As for the stage, trust us, WE WISH we could record it, it felt incredible to be standing there, looking at the audience. If you have a chance, definitely visit this theatre. Sometimes they take the visitors there as part of the guided visit of Petit Trianon (we also have a video on that). So you can try your luck if the dedicated visit to this theatre is unavailable, get the Petit Trianon guided tour.

      It’s one of the most beautiful chapels we have ever seen and been to. And to think that la Galerie des Glaces (the Hall of Mirrors) cost less than a half of what this chapel cost is absolutely mind blowing! And people come to see la Galerie, but just rush by the chapel without realizing the beauty that’s hidden within. Just incredible!

    Salut Guys! I left a long comment yesterday. I saw it is going to your comment space and left. Few hours later came back to check just in case,it wasn't there. I post it again-2nd time. Today I am here,my comment is not here again. What's going on? Nothing offensive in my comment whatsoever. Weird indeed!! Anton,new hairstyle. Love it and it suits you! This town 15min.away my question was,if many people who work in Paris live there? Since only 15m.by train.

      Salut! Anton here, this is so strange. It’s the second time we see this happen to you. We don’t have any filters or any removal activated on our comments, we didn’t even receive a notification that you commented. In fact, I made sure that every comment filtering option is deactivated on our channel. Thank you for the compliment about the haircut, it’s summer, so I thought why not 😂 As for people working in Paris and living outside of it. It’s actually what many people do. A lot of people work in Paris and live right outside of it. It’s a very normal thing here.

      @@AntonandSinan Salut Anton! Correct,2nd time. I remember I shared with you before. Thia hairstyle suits you great. The old one also,but it's a big difference. Which is great 😊. I was assuming the same,as I know rentals are quite expensive in general there. But I know you two are very city people. You like to feel the dynamic around. Paris is a city to be and feel fully. With the great and the bad points. Would you mind making a video( one day)with your personal favourite arrondissements and the reasons why? That would be greatly appreciated. Have a great day! 🌞🍀🇫🇷

      @@AntonandSinan Super! Very happy that you accept the idea with open arms. I know it would be a bit diffetent video,but you both are now enough experienced with the city. There are fantastic areas indeed,but also coming with a price tag. So perhaps opinion of rentals,food difference( where locals eat,where is excellent,where not so much,shops,markets,hidden treasure streets,more cool and friendly vibe,more pretentious,etc. Since it's a walkable city,where it makes more sense to live for slightly more affordable everyday life and easily walk if one fancy more upscale vibe. Where are the areas that it feels more relaxed and authentic atmosphere and friendly people,mixed crowd,etc. I watched some time ago a video about an old bar called 'Le Nant' I think,in 18 arrond. An older gentlemqn is the owner. Trying to keep the authenticity of the place and the prices low. Many people are going there to support him by being his loyal customers. He is in his 70's. Have you been there? Yeah...stuff like that...whatever you feel inside to share from personal experience around town. Have a great day et au revoir 🍀🌞

      You are welcome. That would have been definitely a unique experience had it been a hotel! By the way, the word hôtel in old French means "a home, or a residence" and hence why you will always find a hôtel de ville - a house of the city, ie where the mayor sits. And same applies to hôtel particulier - meaning a private mansion (usually very luxurious) or hôtel-Dieu - meaning a hospital. Neither hôtel de ville, hôtel particulier, nor hôtel-Dieu have anything to do with what we understand as a hotel in a modern sense 😊
