For those who say it’s a poor man’s Rolex. I have this watch as well as the Rolex ceramic panda. The Rolex is iconic and hard to top for a steel sports watch. But-the beefier feel and gorgeous dial of this Tudor panda makes it a better daily wear in my mind. At a certain point in watch collecting, you let go of the snob factor a bit and begin to appreciate a watch for what it is rather than what it isn’t. Good vid Giggles. We should meet up some time.
This is a very nice watch. The white colour of the dial is like a pearl white/silver white. It actually looks better in real person than on camera. Congratulations!
Had mine 6 days, love it. I'm looking at it as your describing it. Didn't notice the polished bevel edge! I bought a never worn in box & stickers on for four grand on FB mkt place. Funny how some are bothered with the rivets,I like everything about this but I want to wear it all the time.
Love this watch I just switch the steel bracelet to the leather yesterday it makes the watch wears a lighter although wearing the steel is definitely not heavy . The black leather strap make it super aesthetically pleasing it’s a keeper .
Welcome back. I've owned the Reverse Panda version of this Tudor for 18 months now. Fantastic watch, and I wear it a lot. By the way,, not that you remember, but I've been waiting for a SD43. I finally took delivery from my AD last week!
Taking a break is a good thing Chris-glad you’re back! I handled that watch the day it came out and I was disappointed that the white indices on white background wasn’t more legible. I was hoping it would be similar to the polar explorer (thicker black surrounds.

Great watch. Ended up moving on from it. Was just too much to wear all day for me, so traded it. Wearing it on an everest strap helps. That ivory/opaline dial is nice though.
Just been offered the Tudor panda but I’ve gone off it since the release. They made a big design mistake by not making the hands legible. The black dial works better
I don’t really get why so many people say this is a Daytona alternative because it looks nothing like a daytona and it certainly doesn’t wear anything like one either but it’s still a nice watch anyways solid movement and good build quality for a not too exorbitant price
I think it’s because Tudor is vintage inspired from older Rolex models. This Tudor reminds people of the older Daytona’s. Personally I’m loving Tudor these days. I agree, it doesn’t really look like the current Daytona model.
It is reminiscent of the 1960-70 Paul Newman Daytona and therefore the comparison, you are correct in saying that it looks nothing like the modern Daytona...a fantastic watch nevertheless

wait list for 16 months worth the wait,this thing is bad ass got it the same week as the 3861 speed and this is now the go to piece. not a poor mans watch i have the rolexes,omegas,bla bla great watches tudor
I've got this Chrono and the Tudor GMT. The thing that annoys me about both is that they don't have an on the fly adjustment for when your wrist swells throughout the day. I just found a company called Steel Reef who sell an easy link which is similar to the rolex datejust 5mm no tool adjustment. If this link works as expected, this will make both my watches near perfect in my opinion. Anyone tried these links from Steel Reef before?

Tudor panda is a high quality swiss watch that is incredible value for money with a upgraded movement that goes in 7-9k breitling chronos 🐼

Great point, the legibility is not great to say the least. Could be a turn off to some. My eye sight is still good thankfully 😅

I was considering buying this watch for about a month, and after a lot of consideration just felt like it was too much for my 6.5" wrists.

Personally, I think it will wear great on a 7 inch wrist. Nothing to worry about

It's a nice watch. It is however, just as a stsrting point, among many other things, WAY too big to be compared to a Daytona.

Who is to say he doesn't already have one? I have the Rolex SD43 and recently added the Black Bay Chrono (panda). It's a great piece all on it's own.
