      Hello @madhurarajnekar2453, Inositol can help with OCD, but its safety during breastfeeding isn’t well-studied. To ensure the safety of both you and your baby, please consult your doctor before taking it. They can suggest the best treatment options for your postpartum OCD while considering your breastfeeding. Take care!

    For anxiety disorder is it best or not?

    • @DrRozinaHappyandHealthyMind
      @DrRozinaHappyandHealthyMind 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @apurbodey640, As a mental health professional, it's important to clarify that anxiety disorders and depression are distinct mental health conditions, although they can coexist. When it comes to considering treatments like ECT for anxiety disorders, it's crucial to recognize that its effectiveness isn't as well-established as it is for depression. If you're contemplating this option, I encourage you to consult with a qualified mental health practitioner near you for personalized guidance tailored to your individual needs.

      @mignopeens That's fantastic to hear! It's great that you've taken proactive steps to manage your anxiety naturally. Deleting social media apps and replacing them with self-help resources while staying physically active through sewing is an excellent approach. Keeping your hands occupied can indeed be beneficial for redirecting nervous energy away from habits like skin scratching. Keep up the positive momentum!

    How about standing up and showing us??????? If my stomach is tightened, there is no room for an inhalation (the air). I can't do abdmoninal breathing inhale with my stomach tightened. There's no room. I CAN do chest breathing with stomach tightened. Maybe stand up and show us.

    • @DrRozinaHappyandHealthyMind

      Sure, you can do it by doing abdominal breathing even if your stomach feels tight. Stand up, take a deep breath in through your nose, and focus on letting your lower ribcage expand. As you exhale through your mouth, let your stomach gently contract. This way, you can still do abdominal breathing without feeling restricted. Give it a try and let me know if you have any questions!

    My first response is to hope for my family to rescue me. I have taken care of myself since too young for 40-50 years. Now I see what a horror show of control that would have been. I still have that collapse wish though. Is that natural or should I collapse into me or God? Why am I wishing for rescue?

    • @DrRozinaHappyandHealthyMind
      @DrRozinaHappyandHealthyMind 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's natural to yearn for familial support, especially after taking care of yourself for so long. Recognizing the potential pitfalls of reliance on others for rescue is a significant step forward. Exploring self-compassion and spiritual grounding could offer solace in moments of collapse, guiding you towards inner strength and resilience. Understanding the roots of your desire for rescue can illuminate areas for personal growth and healing.

    I have been on my own b/c of a bad family situation. I always had a fantasy of being cared for, but have been ok. My first fear response is to collapse and hope to be cared for..then I show up for me. At 59 I would like to get rid of the hope for family rescue, because I am more capable! Is it a collapse response? Can I collapse to me or God or is it better to get rid of the reaction.

    • @DrRozinaHappyandHealthyMind
      @DrRozinaHappyandHealthyMind 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's understandable to long for support from family, but it's empowering to recognize your own capabilities. It's natural to have moments of vulnerability, but focusing on self-reliance and self-care can bring strength. Whether you turn to yourself, your faith, or both, the key is to cultivate resilience and trust in your own abilities.

      A good starting dose for L-Theanine is typically 100-200 milligrams per day. It's wise to start with a lower dose and increase gradually if needed. If combining with caffeine, a common ratio is 1:1 or 2:1 (L-Theanine to caffeine). Always consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new supplement regimen.

    The doctor put me on klonopin when my mother died but I feel so depressed...is that the klonopin?

      We are sorry that you are struggling. Anxiety and depression go hand in hand many times. Unsure if depression is showing because anxiety got better with medication or if it is a side-effect. This medicine is supposed to be short term medication anyways and should not be used on a long term basis. As this is a public forum, we can't give medical advise here. I suggest that you call your doctor and discuss your options or ask for referral to a psychiatric provider. Please call crisis line at 988 for immediate help if you are having severe symptoms or suicidal thoughts. If you are in the state of washington, you can call our office Shifa Health at 425-742-4600 to see if one of our providets could help you. Hope you feel better soon.

      S.O.L., I'm afraid.😔 ECT is the the most effective you can get AFAIK. expensive and flaky insurance in my experience.
