I don't know about you but to me this game still felt spicy. Obviously it did to Drink with the Stoops name drop. You know it was personal for Theo and Cayden (especially for Cayden after OU fans flooded his DMs w/ death threats and tries to tank his father's business). You don't think this game was spicy enough, I think this loss was absolutely deserved for them. Karma at its finest right there.

The end is nigh for Mizzou! The five game win streak is a mirage because those wins either came against Will MusChump, the disaster of a coach that every Carolina fan knew was a terrible hire; or against what was left of MusChump's teams after he left the cupboard completely bare for Shane Beamer to rebuild from. That rebuild is almost complete (some would say it was complete if USC hadn't been robbed by refs against LSU). But this is a very different Carolina this season. That said, Mizzou has a way of making every game against SC incredibly ugly, so they could manage that again and keep it in doubt. But if Carolina plays the way they did against A&M and Vandy, the only thing that will be ugly is the final score...for Mizzou.

Programs bitching about LSU getting night games is understandable because it is an advantage, but please let’s at least try to recognize that this is a distinct aspect of LSU football tradition.

Like Ive been saying for a few weeks there was a reason Pyne was on his 3rd football team in 5 years. A reason why he lost his job twice before. And that the only reason he was on this roster was b/c Horn had tommy johns surgery. Im so glad all the Pyne truthers got to see their "savior" play on Saturday and realize "oh wait, maybe I do actually like Brady at QB". Though I will say i will guve him props for leading two drives that got points, and for taking some vicious hits by the Auburn defense. Aldo anyone kinda feel like this is this years rallying point. Had the same type of vibe as 2023 Kstate. Do not knock the comebacks. I just heard a stat that since joining the SEC we lead the SEC in comebacks of 14+ points down. We have 6 since 2012. So we have one on average every other year!

If the defense plays better than they did against the aggies, and we get the 2023 version of Brady Cook, Mizzou can definitely win this game. However, I don't think we'll ever see that version of Cook again.

the officials made up for that no call PI on the TD pass where there was an egregious holding no call so that was a wash the real question is that mizzou had 2 weeks to scheme on A&M and came up with that game plan? Elko didn't lie when he said that Connor would start (reed is our QB2 and filled in great, but connor had a bad game where he got hurt against ND and people discounted him) not to mention that counting missouri, they have held teams to 100yds or fewer on the ground. i think that like most people, mizzou underestimated A&M (proving that the talent that Jimbo recruited with proper coaching is pretty good) cook didn't have time to set up which led to the inaccuracy.) that got them beat plain and simple

One of the downsides to the schedule being made so far in advance. Having the first road game being at College Station, a tough place to play when you're already struggling on offense and A&M has a strong defense...was a recipe for disaster. Add into that, Wiegman starts surprisingly and Mizzou had probably prepared for the other QB who's not a pocket passer. Just a perfect storm. Mizzou didn't respond well AT ALL to the problems and just folded mentally.

Been a Mizzou fan my whole life and I was as guilty as anyone of drinking the cool aid. That being said I don't understand all the behind the screens crap that has nothing to do with football all orchestrated by they themselves.....From the Blanket fiasco to the flippant comments by the team the Texas A@M game was a disaster on the field and off. After embarrassing the Mizzou Fandom they now say to "Drown out the noise".....u guys made the noise......all of it and now u wanna act like the press and everyone else is picking on poor Mizzou. I will say that I'm all for them Drowning out the noise. Have no idea how the rest of the season goes but I don't think anyone is a cakewalk except maybe U Mass. U can't all the sudden make a team physically better unless u make wholesale changes in my opinion. They either cant or arent able to. Drink says u dont wanna jerk the wheel when it only needs a slight adjustment ....seeing them physically whipped on both sides of the ball seems like a be a bigger adjustment may be in order, but i could b wrong. It's just hard to imagine them better then 7-5 when u got rolled so bad physically the whole game on both sides of the ball.

I have been following Mizzou since 1995. This is one of the toughest loses I can remember. Tougher than the Colorado 5th down, tougher than the Nebraska kick in the endzone, tougher than losing to OK twice in 2007. It is made even more bleak by expectations coming into the season and the way they responded in that game. It gives me no confidence that they will respond or show up for the rest of their season. If they play like this, they will not even make a bowl game at 6-6.

How about some objectivity on the PI call? The ball was UNCATCHABLE! The ball was way off to the side and had there been no contact there is no way he makes that catch. That is why it was picked up

All I can say is that our Mizzou Tigers are soft. Its real easy to dance and be excited when youre beating on really bad teams, when everything is going well. Well how bout when its not. Third game in a row that theyve been punched in the mouth and folded, simple as that. Only difference is BC and Vandy didnt have the athletes to take advantage of those mistakes (and Vandy still almost won, now granted they just beat #1 Bama so it looks a little better 2 weeks removed but still). 1)Luther needs to grow up, some calls didnt go your way, your TD was called back (rightfully so). Get over it and move on to the next play, dont mope and pout for 2 quarters after. 2) This was after a bye week, what the hell was Drink prepping these guys to do, because it sure as hell wanst play the game. Having 2 weeks to prepare and thats the best you got is embarrassing. 3) I think its time to admit that Brady has regressed back to the mean after last year. And no I dont believe we should bench him because who else do we have to play? 4) My final point, this team drank the kool aid, and believed their own hype after not doing anything to deserve the hype. Riding the coat tails of last year. Apperently Drink hasnt done a good enough job saying last year was last year. Also side note, Drink really needs to keep his mouth shut. The only people that seemed shicked that Weigman would be starting was the Mizzou staff and players. Mike Elko never even said the idea of Weigman starting wasnt off the table when he got back. Yet for some reason Drink wants to say "hes only listed as QB1 for semantics". Are you kidding me, also Cook saying "We have louder speakers at practice" wasnt huge bulliten board material, but hey guess what, it gave Mike Elko plenty enough to issue a challenge to Aggie fans which they gladly accepted. This team is not good enough to gloat, and talk trash, and act like frontrunners because they havent done anything to say otherwise. Luther wanted more attention, well here you go bud, time to take the medicine.

Blaming the refs is a loser mentality I always thought. They didn’t give up 41 points and basically no show.

Having any discussions about the officiating, which was horrendous, based on the way this game unfolded is a waste of time. Mizzou lost this game because the O-line could not pass block with any consistency. When Cook did get some protection or was able to escape and create time, he either made a poor decision or a poor throw. When Cook did run, he looked slow and hesitant. On defense, the 4 man rush was unable to create any pressure. It did not help that the coaching staff never seemed to change anything up with stunts, pressure of simulated pressure. I think at this point, Cook has given enough evidence that he is not the player he was in 23, that he needs to be benched. I know Drink will never have the courage to change QB, so it's a pipe dream. The Cody excuse is just that, he would not have made a difference in this game or fix how horrible the O-line and QB has played.
