Mizzou doesn't lose to Arkansas. Mizzou 30 Arkansas 24. It's so weird that Arkansas fans for 358 days of the year say this game doesn't matter, but as soon as this week rolls around, they have to find anything Missouri related to say that despite the record Arkansas is still better than Mizzou. Make up your mind: Does this game matter, or doesn't it? *Also, in terms of Miss State, I really wish Drink would have punched that ball in at the 1 with 1:55 left in the game. For a team that's got 2 wins, Miss State sure was chirping a lot. You got guys being extra after every play or even dudes, not even dressed for the game shoving Cook on the sidelines.
Meh, as a Mizzou fan, I have considered South Carolina much more of a rival than Arkansas, perhaps because they have actually beaten us a few times? Frankly, even A&M feels closer than Arkansas
I don't agree with that guy at all. Missouri feels like a school in the upper South to me, just like Kentucky or Arkansas itself. Then again I'm from southern Missouri and we have always considered ourselves southerners. Midwest my AZZ.
I guess thats the uniqueness of it all. I'm in the St. Louis are and I'm pretty sure nobody in this areas considers that and that's not a knock on the southern area of the state but more so the geographic diversity of it all. I'm okay with rivalry though. It's fun, win or lose. Just seemed like Arkansas fans act like they should NEVER lose to Mizzou and they are so much above Mizzou which isn't realistic. Heck they are more comparable if anything. It will really be good if the basketball can get back to where it used to be.
Agreed. I grew up on an 18,327-acre cattle ranch in central Missouri; part of the state referred to as Little Dixie; you can look up how much east to west and north to south part of the state it represents. Also, look at the history of Missouri back from the 1700s to the end of the Civil War. That will give those from further south a perspective from which they may not have had an awareness.
@@stevewhitaker1474 ... Yeah I know. I'm not even from the little Dixie area of the state, but from southeast Missouri around Doniphan, and absolutely no one even entertains the thought of being Midwestern at all. We are Southern. We grow cotton, rice, and peaches have Southern accents, cook southern cuisine, have Cypress Swamps down here, and can our own food just like southern Appalachia does. And not to get all historical about it, but Missouri was and is historically, a Southern State, and I don't appreciate the media trying to take our southerness away from us and lump us in with midwesterners. Not that there's anything wrong with midwesterners, but we are not them historically and there has been a concerted effort by the media over the past decades to try and white wash Missouri's history. And it's even at the point now, that some don't even think that Kentucky is Southern. And it's all because of the politically correct media.
I was there and I have nothing but respect for State fans. They were so friendly and welcoming. Little Dooey’s was not to be missed lol.

He finally admitted it. 😀
Tucker, your dog is interesting and entertaining. On Maggie's side of the screen ..., I could not get past her pretty face. 'Nuff said.
