James, don't you think new companies should have to pay the drivers immediately? I don't understand how someone can start a business simply by joining CX and literally instantly get potentially unlimited amounts of credit? When they book a driver that driver is giving the shipper credit. Picture this.. I start a company send out £1mil worth of jobs to cx on 60 days payment. Then I don't pay them. No other business would allow credit like that. It blows my mind CX opens their drivers to such risk. New businesses should have to pay immediately. After say 6 month maybe alow 7 days credit and build up. Am i only one that sees this problem? Why should a new business be allowed credit like this? If they cannot pay the drivers they have no right been in business. They couldn't employ drivers and pay them 60 days later. Drivers need to wise up to this imo. I bet you CX DONT factor NEW companies - please tell me if that happens

New shippers that join the CX have to pay in 14 days for the first few jobs I believe then after they get good feedback from it, it can be reviewed to longer

@JamesFletcherVlogs what other business can you get so much credit just after a few weeks it's madness isn't it. CX should credit check them before opening up drivers to potential rogue companies

I’m waiting to see what happens with smart pay.
I’m not interested in factoring with CX, I would rather wait to be paid in full.

There is no end to the greed of the CX
Our subscription is up in December they can stick it where the sun does not shine we have already laid plans to our shippers who are glad to deal directly with us
The CX will be history in 5 years

Q - You have worked in a Lwb and now a luton. What are your thoughts when comparing the 2 in terms of money made and running costs?
I have been in a Luton taillift box van for a week as my lwb has been in for repair and I’ve found the jobs to be more hands on, fuel consumption to he higher but the money is better.
Overall I found my lwb makes less (not miles less) and the fuel costs are lower and the jobs are a lot easier to carry out so it almost cancels out the Luton. I haven’t done work in the Luton long term so wondered if this is actually the case and you should have a better idea.
Thanks man love the videos keep em coming 👍🏾

CX greed is why forwarders are building their own apps

It’s very good all round from the conversations we was having
They want bigger way bigger networks to come on. Pallet network etc but the system isn’t correct for them until they get the trusted & factoring
CX use a commercial bank lender which is got billions it’s a lending process - it will be like a Lloyds or Barclays
    That’s why they charge 5% - 8%
    2% base rate lending
2% for the fees of lending
1% profit for CX for the app service
This is going to be totally different
They have showed us the demonstration of how it’s going to work

All new shippers should be on a 24 hrs pay limit to stop these runaways

Factoring is for people in business who shouldn't be in business because they are not capable of running it.

Complete nonsense, most of the big outfits Speedyfreight, Cargo2go etc all use invoice finance facilities and are multi million pound successful organisations.
My haulage business uses invoice finance which costs a flat fee of 1.25% which is fantastic for us but suppose we should pack up tomorrow as we are "not capable of running it"
      🤡

  • @PTRsTransport

    James,
Although the quoted prices are monthly, the website states that the fee is billed annually.
So it looks like you have to give then a fair chunk of cash upfront every year.
    Hmmmm?

    • @JamesFletcherVlogs
      @JamesFletcherVlogs  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Yes pal, your first your has to be paid upfront in full

There was a transport industry that survived without cx. People got paid with a cheque that was posted. Then wait 7 days for it to clear.
Personnel I don't reqonise cx finance manager in an form. I run my business not cx. I and my customers want as little information as possible put onto a third party platform

I completely agree I never put too much info onto the platform it just doesn’t seem right giving too many details away

But I am from an era were I didn't need a TH-cam influencer or an app to know how to boil an egg

@@JamesTH-cam-m3f21 years trading. Subbed lots of work in that time. Nobody not paid or paid late. If a customer gives a delivery note that's because they need it for the iso accreditation. I have customer we invoice weekly. Two weekly and end of month. They pay 30 days or 45 days and some 60 days.
My company run my way. Not how CX say.
