INEOS PRACTICE MANOEUVRES AHEAD OF DAY 4
Here's a short video of the practice Ineos Britannia were doing on Tuesday 15 October (lay day). It's not the greatest quality, but given the lack of training footage on TH-cam (and pressure from fans.. mostly Todd .. to upload more content), I thought I'd share this iPhone video.

Looks much like wednesday evening races here at home. Out on the course sailing circles ...... Hope they've been able to sharpen their acceleration but most of all their tactics. I know Ben Ainslie is a pro, but there are some decisions he's taken that are questionable. It doesn't matter how fast you get to the end; it's who is IN FRONT. He sems to have forgotten that. Hopefully we will see some covering and close sailing as Ineos try to stall ETNZ tomorrow. Good luck. Thumbs crossed - you have an amazing boat and team.

@stevenbissett loved the lucky red socks 🧦 rip Sir Peter the legend. A great time was had by all. It doesn't matter where it's sailed. I liken it to the chances of getting the Rugby world cup back. 2011 RWC was incredible but not getting back down under hasn't stopped us from supporting the All Blacks has it? Practice is always good , might just be too little too late. And will it improve the sub standard decision making ????. Certainly will not give Rita the turn of speed enjoyed by the Kiwi's. Nor will it equal the time in practice undertaken by the Kiwi's. Sorry to say my impression of the Ineos team is that they have been far too lackadaisical in their practice sessions back on the Solent, compare footage for yourselves, And as much as I want to see the cup back where it belongs, I have given up any hope of seeing it my life time.

Not true. In straight up top speed it's quicker than the Kiwi boat. But Obviously there must be something else going on then. The Kiwi boat is quicker to accelerate out of tacks spending more time at its top speed than INOS. Mosey Sails channel gave us this data. These boats are a lot closer in performance than the results show so far.

That’s exactly what I would’ve thought, when I first tried jumping the board. But it turns out it’s just as easy if not easier because of how little board there is, so long you land when there’s still a nice gust of wind and basically just all back foot pressure then you can kinda just continue on as if nothing happened. Only problem is when you jump when there isn’t a gust, then you kinda just start sinking back down to your neck (for me atleast).
