Jesus Haploid Christ. Literally the only things Derp got right about evolution/abiogenesis is that DNA is a long sequence. He doesn't understand chemistry. I don't really either, my degree is in history, but I did work in a biochem lab while in college, and to this day talk to the biochemists about genetics and biochem. Derp doesn't understand statistics at all. Amino acids occur naturally ALL THE TIME. They've been found on asteroids in space, FFS. 3-5 million of them can hang out in a single cubic micron of water. And they undergo 2-3 million chemical interactions per minute. How many cubic microns of water are there on earth? How many minutes in a billion years? Life was basically inevitable at that point

I'm a Presup so I agree with Van Til but can anyone link me to an example of DD learning anything new from anyone else? In over a dozen years doing this, I haven't heard this happen once. But that’s not the only way to address the issue. The other way is to challenge the claim that presups are in a position to assess revelation. In other words, you don’t need to replace God, you need to question the idea that intelligibility is bestowed. Intelligibility is earned, not given.

Most valuable thing I've learned from Darth: Presup only gets one so far. Just because someone understands Presup, it doesn't mean that person actually believes the Biblical worldview being argued for. Darth certainly doesn't. Just look at his behavior in response to Biblical Cosmology as an example. He can't see or hear. He has no clue about anything beyond Presup. Not someone to look to for advice or as a role model when it comes to Christianity at all.

Darth & Parakeet really show their true colors on the Flat Earth issue. They constantly mock, ridicule, etc. But as far as giving a rational justification for their position? Nothing at all.

If you want to find out who Darth & Parakeet truly are, ask them to defend their constant attacks against Flat Earthers. By justifying that the Heliocentric Globe model is true. Then, sit back and watch in awe as they suddenly begin behaving precisely like atheists do when asked why God doesn't exist.

Darth & Parakeet have no excuse for their behavior toward Flat Earthers. If they're going to constantly do little drive-by attacks, as they consistently do, then they need to defend their position and justify that their attacks are true. Yet, they refuse. Hmm... as Darth says when atheists do the same thing in Metaphysics debates: "I wonder why!"

The way Darth and Parakeet always do short little drive-by attacks of Flat Earthers, like at the end of this video, combined with the COMPLETE absence of a substantive argument for Heliocentrism or against Flat Earth in the 100s of hours of audio they have online, I'm becoming truly suspicious of them. There's just no way to reconcile the way they're behaving EXACTLY like atheists do... with the fact they, of all people, ought to know better. And they, of all people, ought to be capable of recognizing their own bad behavior. It's not like they're unfamiliar with the tactics they're using in an intellectual sense. And it's not like they're unable to recognize the fallacies they're using to evade, obstruct, etc. It's just impossible to reconcile it with how angry they get atheists for the exact same thing.

Darth bizarrely can't recognize that the Heliocentric model is pseudoscience despite knowing all this about the Evolutionary model. It reveals he doesn't really conceptually grasp the points he's talking about regarding the Philosophy of Science, but he has merely memorized a lot of debate points. Either that, or he stubbornly refuses to research the matter entirely. This seems likely given his narcissism combined with the fact he's already publicly taken a stance on it.
