Remember the "pet" system in modern games, Legend of Mana did it first.

Sadly my childhood game is not tales games or final fantasy. in fact my childhood have no series games. but in 2017 and onward, I did played all of a certain game series called Ys but PC edition only. most of trails games too except sky trilogy. as for tales game, I only played all of the game that available on PC via steam except symphonia.

Arise is only an upgrade in terms of its graphics. The Story, characters, lore, and world building don't come close to what Symphonia, Abyss, Vesperia and Berseria accomplished. Combat makes a good first impression but is imbalanced and becomes a chore to play halfway through the game. It is a regression for the series, hopefully they will learn that graphics alone do not elevate a mediocre Tales game.

Their games really have this DNA of Vocal Combat. and I love it even it hurts my ears now.

Played all the ones in English (official or not). Love the series. But Arise got me worried for the future of the series.

TOTw: Radiant Mythology series really *needs* to come back and on the later updated remasters, or better yet needs a brand new remake to handle the bigger consoles like PS5 & PC, seriously! I miss the ones where YOU become the hero/heroine of the story and interact with the others (though the endings sucked...) For me, Abyss was first hands-on, then Radiant Mythology 1 (sadly since only the west...), then I started going after as many others as I could find and get!

Came here for footage of Friends of Mana and Circle of Mana. Too bad you skipped those games. It would've been nice if you explained how Adventures of Mana is yet another remake of Seiken Densetsu 1 and how it differs from the earlier remake Sword of Mana. Like how in Sword of Mana they've changed a lot about the original game to make it more like 2, 3 and Legend of Mana to make it tie in better with the rest of the series, but how in Adventures they chose to ditch all of these changes in favour of a remake more faithful to the original game. Other than that great video. Nice and short. I like to see what games were in the Mana series, what they looked and sounded like and how the series evolved. For more detailed information about the reception and development and such of the series I just have to look elsewhere.

thales of symphonia stay the best game the big problem is that game is insane about spaming then after not many hour of playing that make the game boring but that sure when u play the first time is not like this the only thing is nice with the game is when we learn a new skill sad in the OG game he have only loyd colette and genus who have is special att and in the ps3 all have is special att really not fair in ps3 prescea have like the most OP special since she can one shoot the last skeleton with 99000 hp if is not more and to u have a trick to use 2x in a row genus special indignation jugement when he is in limit just safe is jugement and use it again then he can use it 2x but that sure everyone know that and thales of symphonia i think it is the only game who have is own anime with that

I remeber playing zoids saga and legacy as a kid as gba roms after having watched chaotic century and new century, the zoids universe deserves a reboot not sure if live action show or movie would do any justice for the franchise but god damn the franchise in the 2000s was a hit as far as im concerned

I didn't know a 2d action series like this existed, these games look amazing even as far back as the the SNES.

I love this series

My two favorite Tales of games are 9:40- Berseria and 10:36- Arise.
