I want to keep the water from the ocean for max 3-4 weeks. Do you think I can? Does it want a dark place?

Nice Orion 90mm EQ skywatcher telescope in background. Quality difference between Orion 90mm and generic 60mm refractor is quite huge. Interestingly my 60mm is made in Taiwan and 90mm Orion is made in China. I swapped better eye piece on my Orion 90mm with crap eyepiece that came with 60mm telescope and guess what. Orion 90mm still had much better image than my 60mm telescope. So it's much more than must eyepiece, the whole system contributes to poorer image in 60mm

Can Aliner owners put a noncondencing paint on the metal surfaces?

i move the 10 inch from my room to backyard in one piece. Its not fun to move it like that but its possible and im not like a super athletic person even

I love raising them. They all get along, nobody eats anyone, and my population keeps increasing. The males will play-fight sometimes, but nobody gets hurt. It's funny because one will try to get the other one and the one being got, will roll over to play dead for a second or two, then he gets to be the one to go after the other.

Thank you for posting this video. I am 6 feet 3inches tall. I was thanking about buying one July 16,2024 for $2,000 grand. I was gonna trade my '91 Mazda mx-5 car for it. I think i changed my mind. I was going to fix it up over the years. This one needs work. Has no ac, has nothing inside. Maybe it's not worth 2,000. They cost new over 20,000.

Still have the Aliner? We want one. Do you recommend?

Thanks for the video. Very helpful. The draftiness, not easy to heat or cool and bugs makes an expensive trailer less worth it. Might as well go with a tent.

What year is that a liner that you're demonstrating? It looks to be built back in the '50s or '60s or maybe early '70s. It looks old. It's definitely not a new model.

Laser. Easy. Accurate. Helps others search also. Careful use only. I use it because of neck problem and I can't do a lot of neck cranking with other aiming scopes.

Thanks for posting this. Most of these items I would not have thought of on my own. Where I'm coming from, is that I am almost 67, and I'm getting too old and worn out to really enjoy tent camping anymore. But I don't have a big enough yard to store a full-size travel trailer, something 24 to 28 feet long, but even if I did have room to store a larger trailer, my tow vehicle can only handle 2,500 pounds. Another problem with tents, is that I like to camp in the Mojave Desert in the winter months: Death Valley in particular, and there can be huge windstorms out there, with gusts to 50 mph, that might last up to 48 hours. The A-liner Scout is light enough to tow with my vehicle, but the fact that all the storage cabinets are down at floor level is a serious problem, too.

Sorry naïve question - where did you plug into the Jackery to charge it? I have a very similar panel and controller to you; but can't get it to work.

I first camped at Flour Lake Campground in 1955 when there were only seven sites, all by the lake (and no boat launch area). I went every year until 1994 and have been back to visit but not camp since (but my son has camped there, most recently last weekend). I love it.

I will not buy one just because of the way it looks and knowing the space restrictions inside!

Also what works is Water Weld marine epoxy. I have been using this for quite a few years now but it really depends on how you apply it. The inclination is to pile it on but all it does is dry and peel, crack, off. Have to really get it into the hole then a thin layer over. Lasts a few paddles then have to do it again. Great to keep on board all the time though for emergencies as it is quick. Just layer it over and let dry. But after watching your video, I think I am going to finally break down and buy the patch kit. Thanks for posting.

I have a mini electronic dehumidifier and it does wonders to help dry the air and make the AC work more efficiently. Also no more moisture on my windows and walls when I wake up in the morning.

How fast do snowflakes grow?

Looking here for more on Fenske, and this drive through was a little helpful. I haven't looked to see if you've done others, but I would suggest slowing down and taking a few seconds longer at each campsite. I know that can seem a bit intrusive but I think most ppl know what you're doing. I couldn't get a read on several of the sites since you went by them so fast. We do have a small RV so those were the sites I was mostly interested in, so the site you had, 12 makes the most sense. 15 did look great but upon further review, it's a handicap accessible site so those have special requirements to reserve. This looks the pattern of many a National Forest campground in the northwoods of Minnesota and Wisconsin. Happy camping.

Just becouse the water is clean in your paticular area, doesn't mean it's clean everywhere else.

Was seriously close to buying one, but realized I liked the “idea” of an Aliner, not the reality of an Aliner. Thanks again, as even the largest A-frame from any manufacturer would be too small for our family. To quote the film Galaxy Quest, “Commander, you have saved us!”

When I lived in Florida and had boats, I would collect my seawater far from shore and use it unfiltered in my 80 gallon and 60 gallon aquariums. Never had a single problem. I also collected tiny fish and invertebrates while scuba diving, and kept them in those tanks until they grew large enough to eat other creatures in the tank. Then I returned them to the exact type of habitat where I found them.

Make a filter for the top of those water jugs by cutting a piece of cheese cloth and attaching it with a clean rubber band. That will take care of the visible debris and you can filter it further at home.

This is amazing! I have a snowflake eel, I'm not sure on its age, it's at least 1.5ft if not 2ft, not the fattest though! Hope mine lives as long as yours !

A good foot pump does wonders in pretty good time,. And less work than a hand pump

But my mom said that the fish still died 😢
