Mosquitoes are always bad in the summer in the Keys. You get in the shade, they'll be on you fast. Curry Hammock is somewhat exposed and gets the most wind of all the campgrounds down there, and that does help. I don't recall ever having a big no-see-um issue at any of the campgrounds in the keys I have stayed at. Frankly, in the summer, if I'm not in the water, or have quick access to it, I'm in the air conditioning. We use the microwave exclusively for cooking or get stuff from the deli at the grocery for food because you will be soaked in sweat very fast doing almost anything outside for even a few minutes. The early mornings or late evenings before dark are usually the only times I might sit around outside for a little bit.
Please put a more updated and current video of the campground
Good information. Thank you, God Bless
Glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching.
Just Subscribed, Thank you again 🙏
Great review of a beautiful campground.
Thanks for the compliment.
What about Bahia Honda?
It's a great place. Hard to get reservations though. I like the campsites at Curry Hammock a little better. More to do on site at Bahia Honda.
Hey Brother, what was yer bug situation? Any saltwater mosquitoes or no-see-ums? I'm planning a trip down. Thanks for any updates!

@@bigyingadventurestoo9916 Thanks. I was eaten alive down in Chockaluskee /Everglades Park by no-see-um's and never forgot how nasty they can be!
