Whether you celebrate it or not, happy Chinese New Year! It seems there is not many MMF gameplay videos so I just made one. There is a glitch that locks the screen so I have to use another glitch (resets your screen position when hurt) to proceed and kill myself.

3 days of 103°F fever. The vaccine is so strong that other than not infecting others it is exactly what you get from your lovely Omicron. I have never completed MMU with WaveBuster mod before, it is about time. Also I have not played MMU for two to three years, which means I almost forgot all the levels and bosses, so what could possibly go wrong?

Aren't Smoke and Boss Rush the hardest to cover, especially the Boss Rush? To me, every channel does its own thing and it's very hard to make it sound purposeful while capturing the atmosphere of the original. I made an MMC5 replica, a 2A03 cover, an MMC5 cover based on the 2A03 cover, and a 16-bit cover, and they all sound very bad.

Tips for if a music track sounds empty: make sure all the channels on the sound chip you're emulating are used. This doesn't sound all that empty to me though.
You can check the linked .spc file in the description to see that all 8 channels are used througout the song. (I even added a bassline to the original song).

Thank you! Personally I think my in-game version (linked in the description) is more accurate. I don't see myself as good, and I just listened to the original song 1/60 second by 1/60 second when I was not sure about the notes.

This is the version used in the actual game. If you listen carefully, you will notice that from 0:20 to 0:37 the portamentos are different from the OST's version, which is, yeah, more interesting. Magic of Toby Fox!

Holy shit dude. This is really, I mean REALLY impressive. I couldn't even imagine that this can be possible with stock sound chip. I'm actually very picky about details, but this really impressed me. Of course, there are a couple of moments that are different from the original, but they by no means sound bad. Just different. Instant like and subscribe. You deserved it.
