How did they hold up?

For me the only thing I don't like about this and other Monster models is the coolant pipes to the left of the engine are really ugly. I have the 2011 1100 EVO air oil cooled down on power but 100 bhp on the road is fine. I have a 2011 Suzuki GSXR 600 also another great bike.

Foot pegs are equipment your life depends on.

I'm working on this issue now. I replaced the stock turn signals with single turn lights on front and back. ( no driving lights on the front ). So far I have all lights working fine only with hyper flash so a new flasher unit is ordered. Driving lights will now be in a round headlight with a halo ring.

I live in new jersey and those speeds are respectable, for exploring potential trails and staying on back roads its great! Would be fine on 55mph roads, i like it, i run a vintage honda 600 and that at 70 its cruising, i dont go much over 65 anyway, so the tw is tempting!

Love the XR650L, but it tends to beat the crap out of me on a long ride.

I so want to get a tw200, but my problem is to get out of my suburb and do any back road / offroad, I have to do like 30 miles on single lane highways which have 55mph and 60mph limit, and people drive 70+mph on them often. I feel like the tw200 would be annoying for that. Perhaps it would be doable if I change the sprockets, but I think I'll just get a crf300L instead for that 6th gear. It sucks because tw200 would be perfect otherwise. I'm in FL and we have a lot of sand.

Ya make it as complicated and as many tools as u possibly could use u need an allen rench thats it
