Got my TDub in late April. Had it for 1 week and shattered my left ankle. (Not on the tdub) I spent the past month and a bit just putting aftermarket parts on it lol. So 2 more weeks and I get to finally get back on it. I live on the edge of a Western Canadian City. It rips around the city no problem at all, It handles on gravel better than any other bike due to the tires, and gravel is super common here since it's spread all over the roads every winter to give traction to ice. But I threw a 47T rear sprocket on and it takes me out on the highways and country roads to get to the Rocky mountain trails. Best bike ever.
Hopefully you will be back on the bike soon! I was surprised with how it handled the city. If I lived in a city I could definitely see it as a great bike to commute on.
@@MostroMoto I got a gopro and was wanting to do some moto-vloging. I definitely wanted to share my TW experiences. It's definitely a Nieche bike. But I couldn't think of a better bike for everything I need it for. The only improvement I could make would be giving it a 300cc engine for that extra assurance of power when you might need it most.
Love the TDub here in Utah. I live outside the city and enjoy cruising the back roads and farm fields. Have also been through the city and up the canyon to the single tracks many times. The best thing about this bike to me is how bulletproof it is. This bike will outlast me! Worth every penny.
Hey Mostro, I wanted to respond to your comment you left on my video earlier, but YouTUbe is hiding it for some reason because it got flagged for spam? Anyways, thanks for the compliments on my DRZ! I have a lot of content built up that i'm working on editing; hopefully some of the modification videos I have coming out will be of some help to you with your new bike! Also, feel free to give me a shoutout (I'll take all the love I can get hahaha)! Thanks for the words of encouragement for growing the channel. You have a new sub, ride safe!
Hey Zach, yeah not sure why it’s hiding it, no worries! Like I said I definitely like what you’ve done with your DRZ. Now that I’ve got my hands on my bike I’m exited to throw abunch of mods at it. I’ve already filmed acouple videos but when I’m filming again I will certainly shout you out! Ride safe and we will definitely keep in touch 🤙🏼
I loved seeing you cruise through Stamford. Grew up there until I was 20 and this definitely took me down memory lane. You answered pretty much every question I had on the TW. Good video man! Keep it up
I know what you mean about people who make crappy remarks about the TW. I belong to a club that is mostly Harleys. Some of the looks I get and comments made are interesting. I ride for me. I have fun on my TW so that’s all that matters. I live in a tiny city compared to yours. Kent Ohio. Country roads make me smile.
I honestly think its a very good backroad and city bike its light has enough power to get you around and can go offroad if you want living in hawaii i can use the tw for all it has only thing its bad for it the highway
I had a CRF250L. I often wondered about the difference between those. Top speed was about 80 if I recall. Was a great bike, I’m considering a TW200 for the fun aspect of riding.
Both are great bikes, the Tw200 is definitely fun to ride. It’s also so easy to ride because of how light it is & low seat height. Sometimes it’s fun to take it a bit slower and cruise! Thanks for watching 😃🤙🏼
The place I live is a city of about 300,000. I just live a couple blocks from my work, and generally take my TW out on the weekends on the local country roads around the city.
That was a nice tour of Stamford. I’ve never been there but it looks like a nice city. I got caught the other day by the weather too. Weather report said I had 4 hours before the storms but the reality was 45 minutes. I got drenched.
Yeah it’s a nice city, good night life & bars! It sucks how unreliable the weather stations are haha. Sometimes they are spot on, other times not even close!
Nice cruise dude, and thanks for the tour! If the wind was any heavier, you might have ended up on Oz! Then again, the TDub would have no problems shredding the yellow brick road! 🤘😂
@@MostroMoto Ha! Right on man! Most welcome, and as always . . . Great vid & Thank YOU for sharing! 🤘 PS: I just found out where my sister is living.. They're in New Fairfield [Just North of Danbury] 👍
You can always turn right on red unless otherwise posted ... no right on red.

I live in Hawaii and i love my tw200 and if its not raining I'm on it every day . Great for cruising the island 🏝 🤙
That must be amazing! Would love to ride Hawaii one day! Such a beautiful place with plenty of exploring to be had 🤙🏼

Yeah I don’t understand why people are like that. Why can’t we all enjoy the bikes that we ride, all that matters is we are on two wheels!

That would be absolutely amazing living in Hawaii with a Tdubs! Or any small thumper would be sweet!
@@MostroMoto it really is honestly again only bad thing is the highway but there is so many backroads here that are so much fun to blast around
What bike do you like more? The Tw or the XR650L

There is a guy who lives down the street from me who drives his TW year round, I live in Maine
Wow Maine gets some gnarly weather in the winter doesn’t it? That would be amazing riding the Tdubs in Maine! It’s a beautiful state

That’s nice, how do you like it as a city bike? I was really happy with how it performed in the city

What brand rack do you have on the bike ?? How much weight does it weight ?? Cool video. 👍👍
I’ve got a rack review / install video. Check it out, it is in my TW200 mods playlist! Thanks for watching 😃🤙🏼
