Hello Lovely Sister 👋❤ I have trouble with my diet as well but everyday is a new day, I have a treadmill and it's helped me lose weight, But it's the Lord who helps me first 🛐
I’m so glad you are making decisions to cut out these unhealthy patterns! Not only is it showing your obedience and surrender to God, but it also has physiological benefits to eat better and stay sober! I’ve definitely used food to cope with my own stress and anxiety (and on occasion I still do!), so you are not alone in this extremely common sin. 💛
I just want to say that your gentle honesty on this public platform is such an encouragement to me in my own walk with God. It's hard enough to confess our sins to God, or to people we love, even if they can see our sin for themselves (as you mentioned). Some sins really show on our bodies or in our actions, others don't and those that hide are even harder to confess I think. Anyway, I see so much fruit in you! Hold fast to God and I pray that he'll continue to pour out his strength on you as you cut sinful habits out of your life. We spend our whole lives being sanctified, so don't be discouraged if the steps are small. They're still steps :)
Usually we don't have our own strength to quit our bad carnal habits and sins, I think, but we as Christians can definitely do it in His strength and for His glory.
Yes, eating too much can be a sin if it falls into the category of gluttony. Gluttony is excessive indulgence in food or drink to the point of overconsumption and self-centeredness, no self control. The Bible warns against gluttony as it reflects a lack of self-control and can lead to making food an idol (Proverbs 23:20-21; Philippians 3:19). That said, it's important to differentiate between occasional overeating and a pattern of gluttony. Overeating once in a while doesn't necessarily mean you're sinning-it depends on your heart and intentions. For example, if you're eating out of gratitude and fellowship, that's different from consistently indulging for selfish pleasure or neglecting your health. As with all things, balance, self-control, and a heart that honors God are key (1 Corinthians 10:31).
Hey sister! The Truth will set you free! Sometimes our soul is hungry and we think our tummy is. Or sometimes we are need liquid and tap water is disgusting sometimes so I recommend tea but put cold water to boil. I struggle with sins too. But reading Bible watching testimones and worrying about health help. Wish you overcome this soon
Thank you! I needed this! I have been struggling with gluttony for like 5 years now. I was super anorexic as a child. Struggled with depression and we were poor. Still poor but now have more money for all the things I can now enjoy that I couldn’t before. And I found that I eat when I am bored, stressed or depressed. So thank you for this video because I too struggle with self control! I am thankful that you have come to know Jesus and so excited to see where God takes you in life! Much love from Oregon, dear!
I struggle with lust. It's so hard to escape but I know I can do it. God is here to help me and same goes for you! You're not alone girl. Stay strong! ❤❤
I’m so proud of you! It’s hard to be vulnerable and admit our sinfulness. May God bless you in your walk with Him and continue to renew your heart and mind and body to glorify Him.
The latin for Jesus is Iesus, but your handle has jeshus. May the Lord bless both you and her, fellow siblings in Christ. No glory unto us, O Lord, not us, but unto your name give it. Gloria in excelsis Deo.
Glory to God! Even I as a regular weight guy still fall into gluttony as well, don't give up, Christ will fix it! God bless you, thanks for sharing☦☦🙏🙏!
Your sweet spirit and simplicity ministered to me today. I spent a lot of time in prayer trying to correct the way I view drinking after having a little more than was good for me a few days ago. It helps knowing I'm not alone and I'm thankful that God doesn't have crazy expectations of me but does urge me to have every part my my life to be completely full of His life.
Food is one of those issues that's like... really easy for me to overlook. I'm very fortunate to not look any different regardless of what I can eat, though I know how my body feels and my energy levels fluctuate according to my eating habits. It's such a particular balance, being able to enjoy what the Lord has created without overconsuming it. There's a lot of things the Lord has made good, which we have perverted in our sin, food being one of them. And yeah, definitely, food can be turned into an idol, from over-restricting, under-restricting, binging for comfort's sake, boredom eating, etc... I'm hoping to join my mom's health-related Bible study class when they start their new book soon. I want to get into better eating habits, and the Lord has really brought to my attention how I need to glorify Him in every area of my life. Right now, I've been focused on how I spend my time and how I use my hobbies, but you bringing this up is ALSO bringing to my attention the side of glorifying the Lord in my eating habits. It makes me so happy to see you continuing to be in the Word and listening to the Holy Spirit. Just know, you don't have to share the entirety of your walk with Christ on the internet if you don't want to. No one is obligated to know every detail of your life, but we will be here to encourage you if that is needed/wanted!
Thanks for your words! And I post so much on here because it really helps me documenting my journey through Christ, and I hope that it will help someone else, even if it’s just one person, to find Jesus and walk in his light! I want to share any little bits of knowledge I have with my fellow Christians, and we can talk in the comments and it’s really nice. Also, I hope that atheists will come across my channel and see how much the Lord has done for me, and how much He could do for them!
Praying for i too struggle with gluttony from time to time and as someone with anxiety and has struggled with it I get it and Turn to the lord and surrender to him
Carnivore diet (about 1 week, get body into ketosis) and then water fasting! If possible, get all non meat food out of the house to make it easier to resist food
Acknowledging your sin is the first step to change. So proud of you for being vulnerable by sharing that. Change will come gradually. Please don't shock your body by cutting things out entirely, that could be dangerous. Stay safe! I love seeing the spiritual progress. Keep praying for help from Christ that He would be your priority. I think where most sin stems from is displaced priorities.
Going to Confession and adoration, and praying the Rosary will help you immensely i this regard. And don't forget that God loves you even when you don't feel it or it feels like you're far away from him.
you know the truth, you are trying to walk that path, there are deep things that need healing. you are a royal priest! you are chosen, precious. i sense a lifelong self hatred in you, Father will heal it. We were all broken and the repair can be painful, but spending time with Father is reward in itself, but repair is the result. i am praying for you
Look how far you have come! I want to let you know, God is so proud of you! And your brothers and sisters in Christ are cheering you on! It takes so much boldness to come on TH-cam and talk about sins, specifically the ones you struggle with, but I want to encourage you to keep going! Your relationship with God has grown, and will continue to do so. ❤ I thank God for you in my prayers, and will continue to pray for you!
It’s so great to have that self awareness to know and acknowledge the sins that you deal with. That’s for sure a good first step. Here’s something I think will help you with your mindset surrounding sin: Because you are saved and covered in the blood of Jesus, you accepted him as your Lord and Savior. That means that you are no longer just a sinner saved by grace, but a Saint! You no longer have the same nature inside of you. Does this mean that you will never ever sin or be tempted again? No, of course not! But it means that you have the tools and a completely different nature in order to combat sin! because you are a child of God now that means that because you do not have the sin nature, you will naturally begin to desire the things of your father God. And you’ll just naturally start doing things that he would do and not really have to worry about sin anymore. I highly recommend reading the letters of Paul in the New Testament, and really getting into studying that part of scripture. He goes into a lot about the things I just touched on! I hope this helps and encourages you! ❤ Remember, you’re a Saint, not a sinner!
no way ! you're older than me ?!, lol people call me an old soul and i barely hit 2 decades XD. also, your gospel is nice, always brings a smile to my face (: keep up the good work.
I pray and hope god gives you the strength to fight this sin in your life. Talking about struggles with sin is very very hard, and you need to be really brave to do that, and honestly, the more I watch from your videos, the more I admire you for the courage you have, and. Well, everything else
I just want you to know that you are such a beautiful person and the way you are making changes in your life even when it's hard is so inspiring. God bless u ❤
God has been convicting me about this, is saw this video in my recommended and clicked on it thinking nothing, turns out it was the same thing God was trying to tell me about
He forgives you. I know it doesn’t feel, FEEL like it right now but trust him. He’s so gracious. He loves you and will carry you and pull you through this! ❤
God is able to turn around anything. I used to have severe Autism (Can not function hardly at all in life without assistance) as a toddler and young child but as I grew up (Especially around 5th grade and up) I was miraculously healed from it by the Lord after my mom was praying and believing God for the healing! All glory to God! Here in 2025 at 22 years old I am free from it with only left over minor sensitive hearing which is from the past effects of Autism (which I am believing God for complete 100% healing from) , Autism at such a high severity does not go away on its own and according to the internet there is no known cure. But with God all things are possible: 26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26 NKJV). Also God is more than able to change your wrong desires into right desires: "For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him Philippians 2:13 New Living Translation (NLT) God bless you, and may the Lord Jesus Christ turn it around for you in Jesus name, Amen! 🙏🙏 :)
Blessings 🙏.nyou would not believe this but I was driving and chatting with the Lord Jesus and o just remembered that I had to repent of eating habits. It was as if I forgot to. I have had many layers and seasons of repentance on every single issue I have for the last three years since I got saved (praise the Lord) and somehow I backslid so far that o didn't know why the Lord wasn't working good ine in the area of my over eating. I had no idea what backsliding looked like. Nobody told me, it was just a bunch of whispers about my weight gain but not a single tap on the shoulder about eating being a sin. I never had any videos on my TH-cam feed before and there is your beautiful face staring at me with the brightest blue hair and I was just saying to the Lord, I am a curious person we ladies are supposed to be curious and adventurous. So here I am watching your video thinking, what sin could you possibly have that is disgusting as the emoji is showing? It's the exact one I am struggling with the most this very second and as you told me what it was, I got up off he couch and went into the kitchen to look for something else to push into mouth without satisfaction once again and on-top of what is sitting in the stomach already most likely not being digested because it's working very hard to get through absolutely everything I have put in there over the years. my health has deteriorated, i continue to grow out of my clothes on a regular basis andy chores pile up because of the lack of energy I get from being full and hungry at the same time and fasting is out the window because I go into ketosis like a coma. So all I end up doing in the end is doom scrolling. It's a cycle I can't do anything about. The repentance of sin y the first step. After that, I have to let the Lord work a good thing ine and o have to listen to the Holy Spirit. There is a lot of healing that has to happen to understand why I chose to eat to be satisfied in the first place.yum was a desert chef and anytime as a kid I was upset, mum would make the most delicious thing to eat. It felt like a love language. These days my mum is unwell with type two diabetes amd being saved I have had to get rid of the sex drugs rock n roll lifestyle so I am left with looking for sin free pleasure which became a sin because it was my new go-to. The Lord and the word and labour 6 days a week is all supposed to be the little because the Lord didn't save me just so I can spoil myself with over indulgence of allowable things. This to me is definitely a cover up for some deep hurt and undealt with wound that needs closure. It's got to be laid at the feet of the Lord. May He bless you and continue to work a good thing in you my beautiful sister. 🙏🌻
Some thoughts on this one as someone who is perpetually fighting a desire to overeat. I think this is a bit different from other sins and requires a bit of a smarter, wiser approach than just exerting willpower. Obviously, since we actually need food to live, we can't just go cold turkey. Also, there can be an associated sin of vanity where we are more concerned with appearance than actual health. To some extent, secular health experts are already ahead of us Christians with advice such as stopping weighing yourself every day since a focus on numbers is counterproductive. Over time, our bodies get 'used to' being at a certain weight, so it can become very hard to get that weight off, however my understanding is that there are two types of fat. One type just hangs around and makes us heavy while the internal visceral fat is the one constantly poisoning us, but can be reduced much more easily and quickly by following a daily exercise routine, so definitely dont get too focused on appearances. Im not qualified in any way, but I have a couple of tips: Whatever steps you take, assume this will be a permanent lifestyle change-no going back when you reach an arbitrary goal. (This doesnt mean you couldnt hypothetically increase your food intake slightly in a controlled manner if you were to become slightly underweight.) Focus on eating healthy first, and reducing consumption after that. Note that eating healthy is already really hard if you do it properly. Its really important to switch to unprocessed foods the way God intended, and theres just so many ways good natural foods have been substituted with rubbish, or had the good bits removed leaving concentrated sugars. Also make sure family and friends are on board with the changes. Our loved ones can be the biggest challenge or our best supporters. Either way we gotta keep loving them.
I used to battle vanity, i got over it once i found out im actually ugly. Which also knocked down my pride. Took me too long to notice. I struggle now with anger and lust, and i battle those daily ever since i dropped vanity and pride. I hope to at least die trying. That i can at least change someones life for the better, even if its something small nobody will ever take time to notice. I dont feel any less or more important than anybody else, so its always good hearing others finding God, it gives me encouragement to keep going, since having no friends in my life makes it seem so one sided that i dont feel i can be able to climb the mountain step by step. We all have a cross to carry, and we all serve the same God, no matter how we try and exclude a greater divine being from the idea of you and your precious life. Satanists, Buddhists whom practice dharma, wiccans, muslims and paganism, all of everyone are my people. Id never beleive that Jesus would want me to dislike my brethren, for ANY reason, but i wont speak for Jesus either. I just hope i can continue learning, i dont know why, but i feel my learning will never stop! Best Fishes 🐟, friend ♥️. On your journeys may you have safe travels! 🐈🐈🐈
We are all trying to fill that hole in our heart that Jesus is supposed to. The story about the Samaritan woman at the well Really brings it home. Jesus is the everlasting Spring and we will never thirst if we come to him. All other worldly things Will leave us quenching for more
Hey!!! I just wanted to give you some tips! I, myself don’t struggle will gluttony but it’s all about self control! Obviously there’s verses in the Bible about self control so you could look to those for guidance. I sometimes use something that I call the “Reward System” An example for your case would be if you had a whole bag of candy instead of eating the whole bag you say “I’m gonna eat one If I do my math homework” It’s helps build up self control and I thought it might help you! Many prayers, God bless🌾❤️🔥❤️🔥
We cannot conquer our sin ourselves, but fortunately God hasn’t left us to go it alone. We’re not expected to be perfect, on the final day we will be made so. For now, we’re a work in progress. To those who desire to be changed, God will make it so. You’re on the right path and that’s enough for now.
we all sin daily in word thought and deed set your eyes toward the Lord we are weak without him and if you struggle with certain sins remember we have a advocate with the father we will never be perfected in the flesh thank God that through Christ our spirit is perfect
I am not a regular viewer nor am I subscribed, but out of the videos that have popped up, I have to say that I'm very proud of you. I don't know you, but God does, and I am super happy that you have come to accept who God made you - a beautiful, sweet woman. I hope you continue to build your relationship with the Lord. I have to say that my heart for the LGBTQ community is not as warm as yours: of course, I do care for them and I only want them to have a relationship with Jesus, but I also have a small bit of wariness towards them because I have been consistently treated badly by them because I'm a Christian. They just want to force me to agree with them -- at least the one's I have dealt with. So although it may be hard for me, I'm glad you have a more positive outlook while also not ignoring the fact that it's not right. I might even watch more regularly because the transformation you made fills me with joy.
Thanks for the encouraging Scriptures. It is just as the Scripture says: “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame.” -Romans 10: 11 Our hope is in Jesus and He is more than able to do what we ask Him. God bless you.
I’m a former transgender woman. I gave my life to Christ Jesus about two years ago. I’m also recovering alcoholic. Every day we need to rely on God‘s strength and not our own. I’m here to give you some encouragement. We can do anything through Him. Fasting brings us closer to him by denying ourselves and letting the fullness of the Holy Spirit guide us and also feed us with the word of God. Jesus said he is the living bread, the manna from heaven in the wilderness. I am so proud of you and you are not alone. There’s nothing you and I have done in this life that is bigger than what Jesus Christ did for us in the cross.
God created us to be a specific kind of person. He made no mistakes in making us. So who He made us to be from birth is who we are meant to be. We can not now take control and say that God made a mistake in making us and try to fix His mistake, He makes no mistake and everything is intentional. So who He created us to be is who we are to be. We walk in the perfect will and purpose that He has given us, let’s not intervene and try to switch things around.
Something I'd recommend to help you (despite I also struggle with Gluttony sometimes) use the scripture that Jesus used when he got tempted by Satan. [Matthew 4:4, KJV] But he answered and He answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread, alone but by every word that proceedeth put of the mouth of God.
The things they put into our foods make our bodies so addicted. For me, I think it was more that than food, the wanting more, more, more. If you can eat real foods, that is what helped me most.
“If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:8-9 You are bolder than many confessing like this, know that your confessions are always heard by Him who loves you and He says no one can take you from the Father’s hand. ❤
15 For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. 16 If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good. 17 But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. 18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. 19 For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. 20 Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. Romans 7:15-20

Yes, eating too much can be a sin if it falls into the category of gluttony. Gluttony is excessive indulgence in food or drink to the point of overconsumption and self-centeredness, no self control.
Thank you so much for sharing that! 🙏
May the Lord Bless you. More should follow the Lord as you do. Be the Lord with you
The latin for Jesus is Iesus, but your handle has jeshus.
May the Lord bless both you and her, fellow siblings in Christ.
No glory unto us, O Lord, not us, but unto your name give it.
Gloria in excelsis Deo.
Glad to see I'm not the only one, I've got the same hunger, 😮💨 God bless u
I am so proud of you sister for surrendering everything to Christ- even your past identity which you could have held so closely.
"If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me."
You’ve been really inspiring me to get closer to the Lord, thank you and God bless!💖
You are loved. Hope you heal from this, I know God will get you through this.
Going to Confession and adoration, and praying the Rosary will help you immensely i this regard. And don't forget that God loves you even when you don't feel it or it feels like you're far away from him.
tbh me too! This is still a struggle for me, my mom tells me off about about it all the time, pray 4 me!!!
Everyone is sinful, you’re not alone! Hope you overcome gluttony! ❤
you know the truth, you are trying to walk that path, there are deep things that need healing. you are a royal priest! you are chosen, precious. i sense a lifelong self hatred in you, Father will heal it. We were all broken and the repair can be painful, but spending time with Father is reward in itself, but repair is the result. i am praying for you
You got this ❤❤❤ God will help you through!
I thank God that he helps us and i pray that they Lord may help all people with there troubles. God bless you all!
You are doing so well❤✝️
Man, seeing videos like these always brings a smile to my face. Keep up the good work and may God bless you and watch over you. 🙏
It’s so great to have that self awareness to know and acknowledge the sins that you deal with. That’s for sure a good first step.
Here’s something I think will help you with your mindset surrounding sin:
Because you are saved and covered in the blood of Jesus, you accepted him as your Lord and Savior.
Remember, you’re a Saint, not a sinner!
no way ! you're older than me ?!, lol people call me an old soul and i barely hit 2 decades XD.
also, your gospel is nice, always brings a smile to my face (: keep up the good work.
I genuinely appreciate your honesty! I love your content and I can see the growth and steps you are taking towards living for God. God bless you 🙏
Seeing your dedication to following Christ humbles me and inspires me to seek the Lord further as well. Thank you ❤
God bless.
I genuinely love when you post, even if they are not long you seem so willing for God and it's something I want to achieve. Good job🌟🌟
You’re so incredible and i love what the Holy Spirit is doing in you✝️💌
I pray and hope god gives you the strength to fight this sin in your life. Talking about struggles with sin is very very hard, and you need to be really brave to do that, and honestly, the more I watch from your videos, the more I admire you for the courage you have, and. Well, everything else
"as you can tell.." 😭😭😭
The Lord our God said: "However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting." (Matthew 17:21 NKJV)
You ain't ugly. Ugly is a personality, you ain't Ugly. Love the hair fam. :) I know it's a process and you are doing great.
Stay strong! You can do it!
With our God, nothing is impossible, you can.
Philippians 4:13
13 I can do all things through [a]Christ who strengthens me
it's beatiful what you do. God is working in you and through you
It's okay. ur not the only one God will make you strong

Im not qualified in any way, but I have a couple of tips:
Whatever steps you take, assume this will be a permanent lifestyle change-no going back when you reach an arbitrary goal. (This doesnt mean you couldnt hypothetically increase your food intake slightly in a controlled manner if you were to become slightly underweight.)
Focus on eating healthy first, and reducing consumption after that.
Slowly but surely. Keep going!
I have a problem with gluttony too. I am working on it also.
1:55 but the lord helpet you now that you have faith❤❤❤❤
You are doing amazing , keep going ❤
As an Italian, definitely we worship food and drink and this is a big big problem with our genetics.
1:21 that verse can also be talking about idolatry
I eat too much and watch movies and listen to rap music 😢 Jesus forgive me I’m trying not to but I keep failing him help Jesus 🙏
we all sin daily in word thought and deed set your eyes toward the Lord we are weak without him and if you struggle with certain sins remember we have a advocate with the father we will never be perfected in the flesh thank God that through Christ our spirit is perfect
I might even watch more regularly because the transformation you made fills me with joy.
i hope you fix that ✝
i hope you touch some grass
and i also hope you never sin again ✝
Thanks for the encouraging Scriptures.
It is just as the Scripture says: “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame.” -Romans 10: 11
Our hope is in Jesus and He is more than able to do what we ask Him.
1st John 1:9 KJV - "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
1 John 1:8-9
You are bolder than many confessing like this, know that your confessions are always heard by Him who loves you and He says no one can take you from the Father’s hand.
