CUTIES!! Also afaik, Bratz dolls (and other MGA dolls) don't use glue inside the head to hold their hair in. They use either tension by braiding, or melting the hair in place when it's saran. So you can totally boil the roots down flat without worry!

I’m now past 40 custom Blythe dolls in my collection (purchased from professionals) and I love 99% of them. I’ve been hand sewing outfits for them, mostly in linen and vintage fabrics. So much fun.

Welcome to the channel! 💕 Yes, wigs can be costly. What I do is search "wig lot" on auction sites. Much cheaper per wig that way. Also some porcelain doll wigs are great. They might just need some combing and restyling. Or to reset the curls. 🩷
@MaggieToTheRescue thank you, I wasn't aware you could reset curls on porcelain doll hair. I just tried the boiling water trick on a plastic doll! Do you use boiled water on the porcelains too?
@@aquaryhunp82 I haven't ever tried a boil wash on a doll wig (that's what porcelain dolls have. I've only tried it on rooted hair. If you want to experiment, I'd just dip a small area underneath and see how the hair reacts. And be sure not to dip the crown, because that will loosen the wig glue. Good luck!

Hmmm, I'll have to do some research! Taking a TT head off is complicated due to the crying tube. So I know replacing eyes is not easy. After the holidays I will look into repairing them. Until then, happy holidays! 🥰

The Cloe doll is "Play Sportz Soccer" from 2007. The Jade doll is "Sunkissed Summer" from 2004. The pink dress and matching shoes belong to "Formal Funk" Jade from 2003. The brown top and pants belong to "Wild Wild West" Fianna from 2005, and lastly, the brown boots belong to My Scene brand Barbie doll from 2002. A few years ago I had time to spare and really got into making over Barbies. I did the boil washing, small curlers with boil washing, and removing stains from the body. It was so satisfying bringing old Barbies back to life! I saw one video where there applied ?????? to the rubber, wrapped in cellophane, and set out in the sun. Unbelievable collections.
Weren't your before and afters so satisfying?! 💕 I think the topical treatment for stains you mentioned is Benzoyl Peroxide. Which I'm not as happy with as other methods. I hope to do a video on that in the future!
