Aww! She looks adorable! Good job👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I enjoy rescuing dolls too. Sometimes I comb out the hair while the conditioner is still in the hair and then rinse.
I have a similar (but not exactly the same line I’m sure) Jasmine and I love this size of doll for the princesses. Good job rescuing her! The hair was so gross. She looks so happy.
@DebsDollRoom I found alternating warm & cool settings on a hairdryer can help. The small sponge rollers are good cause you can wind the hair as loose or tight as desired. But the biggest help is when the doll comes with some "natural" curl or wave in the first place! 😊
I did an older customized Blythe doll yesterday that had hair like this. The underside looked like nothing I’ve seen before. I did my standard people shampoo and condition that I left on for a bit. Still felt dry and crunchy plus I couldn’t comb thru it. So I did the fabric softener soak for a bit. Still feel dry and was very hard to comb thru. Lastly I mixed people conditioner in warm water and pour it on her hair than additional conditioner straight out of the bottle in her hair. I let that sit for a bit, while it was still very wet I laid it flat and started combing through the hair adding a bit more water and a bit more conditioner on it as I combed thru which really helped a lot. Once I finally combed thru the entire head I rinsed her good put her in a tall spaghetti sauce jar with a towel wrapped around her (only way for her long hair to hang straight) combed it once again and put her close to a fan. In the end her hair was shiny and softer. Now I need to give it a bit of a cut. A lot of work but quite satisfying in the end.
Such a good job, pretty Belle!
Thank you!! 💕

I love rescuing dolls too and fixing them up.
Also I sometimes find those little crowns in Goodwill grab bags and saved them for dolls like this.
Thank you for rescuing dolls! Wonderful that you've found those little crowns at Goodwill. 👍💕
such a great transformation!!!!!!
Aw, thank you!! 🥰
Wow soo cute
So happy you rescued her!! When you use rollers do you use anything else to hold the curl?
@DebsDollRoom Thank you! Do you mean a product in her hair? I didn't and so far, so good, but let me know if you recommend something!
@@MaggieToTheRescue I have had no success at curling hair. Just wondering if you used something.

That's fantastic! I think the most important part of restoring doll hair is patience! So glad it worked out! Thanks for sharing your process! 💕

One can use boiling water for hair of modern dolls to untangle them.
Thanks for the tip! 💕
