Spanish misjudged how terrible motor is against falconet, and should either keep pushing to trade with the motor, or pack the falconet to gain some speed to retreat. Ethiopian only got one motor at age III and they always build tactics around it, so don't be afraid to trade it.

You had 2 big mistakes: -Soth Africa can train imperial WW an ALSO imperial natives (you have the capitol). -Not trainning "coureur des bois". Same population than regular settlers but gather much faster (and you jus replace 30 regular settlers with this unit). Small mistakes: -Doing this revolt with age III card that uprades HP and attack in all your cav -Once you destroyed his Factories and there wasn't more wood left. Start pushing in water with european big boat for forcing him expend tons of wood in water. (and if you win a side you can drop units directly there) -I also recomend the 40% off train time on cav before revolt What made you hold and win where those towers and bad unit combo of russia (he should have train halvs instead of streelets because are more tanky, better counter and the most importance the siege to fast destroy those annoying towers) All of this is really easy to say when you are watching. I know when you are in game is much harder to see what is best because your brain is focus on multitasking xD Really nice game and a little bit dirty at the end xD

The only reason i would ever build azaps is to counter goons type units or especially brits with their arks merc. Gathering that much wood isnt really eco effective compared to tank with jannis and shred with abus.

I can already tell you this title is click bait. Ethiopians need every advantage they can get. Just about every civ wrecks them. They need a buff. Their main troops the Gascenya are expensive, weak, use wood which is slow to collect. The eco of Ethiopia in general is bad compared to European civs and have no chance against a European civ late game

1k influence can be used to train 2 falc at the palace, that would be a nice backup for the sebastapol. And Abun + Mahout is another strong combo.

The ability of multiple Abns to heal a unit at the same time seems to be a bug at this game, because to achieve this you must select several Abns at the same time and then choose to treat them at the same time when the unit has not yet received any healing effect. Only then can it be done.

Soldier may have outplayed you on the water, but he forgot a key feature that would have won him the game: landing party raids.

As a main Japan player, I can tell that this strategy would lose 99% of games. No army until 10 minutes is a guaranteed loss.

i love the map and the game, but things that i consider overlooked always, specially in this game. war ships give gold with the house of vasa, not much but worth it, specially for soldier, you not getting the Courrers wich 30 courrers could be 6 pop more eficient on villagers, to close the 10 max pop gap. Also Imp Oprichnich from galleons are deadly for buildings its always overlooked. either way great game loved to watch it.
