My own dog, a doxle (dachshund-beagle mix) of whom I have videos on my own channel, is a rescue who had been taken to a high-kill shelter as a stray after being hit by a car. Suffice to say, though, that after six-plus years in her forever home, she pretty much runs the place now.

A lot of people know animals in trouble. Please act. Tell someone, ask for help. They are depending on you.

It’s a dog, it can be left alone for hours and hours 😅

Moki is so gentle to her! Apparently Rusa can understand Sheila. But Kobe... Was he scared of Sheila? Or was he just being very careful?

When you rescue a dog or a cat just take it slow and let them work it out and let them get used to you in your own time and they will have a great home and if it doesn’t work don’t worry just try your very best no matter what you try to help never give up

It probably is down to the owners, but how do you stop those irresponsible owners from causing the damage they do. And there are so many articles about dogs that aren't good with kids, and dogs that aren't good as family pets, including surprisingly, little dogs like Chihuahuas, Pekingese and Shih Tzus. How do you ensure those dogs don't endanger children. Is dog licensing the answer?

That’s a lot of doggie poopies to scoopies ever day. I’ve done my decades of poop duty for many animals and it is a calling, a labor of love. God bless these kind people.

My rescue dog is even more afraid than this. He will have moments of playing and loving treats and learning, but on the flip side, always has tail tucked outside if there is any sound at all or any sign of people like voices. I can walk him from the side gate to the front door but that’s all. At other moments he is so affectionate and loves to be stroked. He will hide if anyone else comes in the house. At other times, so relaxed and plays with toys and has feet crossed in total relaxation. I don’t know his history and it is the hardest situation I’ve ever had with a dog, he’s been with me and my other dog for about a year and a half already, he definitely needs a mentor. I nudge his boundaries slightly but want to stay within his range of tolerance.

Oh goodness.my housemate lost her old lady to cancer. She soon brought home a baby. We still have 2 old ladies from our original pack. Watching the old ladies play with the baby, but fuss at her if she gets too active with them is funny.
