Casio LK-78CD: Casio LK-280CDTV Option Discs Showcase
This video is dedicated to showcasing the four option discs that were available to purchase for use with the Casio LK-280CDTV, a Japanese key-lighting keyboard (part of their Hikari Navigation brand) with an integrated Music Data Expansion CD drive and a composite video output. All 90 tunes across all four discs are shown using a Casio LK-78CD. Lyrics for TV output are not shown in this video. English translations for titles are displayed for your convenience. When referencing any Japanese song, please use the appropriate Japanese title if possible.

My Childhood Memory
Hi Gabriel: Thanks for the great tutorial and the ton of info. I am using a CTK-558 as a MIDI device. I notice that the pitch wheel will only deviate the note 1/2 higher or lower. On my Ensoniq ESQ-1 I can increase the amount of pitch to an octave. It is possible to change the pitch wheel range on the 558? Thanks!

Another issue about the CTK-558 is that when a chord is not cleared in Chord Book, exiting Chord Book clears the chord but the fingering for that chord remains on the display. This happened in my CTK-531.

how do you record the samples of each sound anyway. It could be useful for a soundfont since their are not many casio soundfonts, and some of them have piano only.

This is such an awesome keyboard. I had one of these growing up and I still wish I had it to this day. This video brings back wonderful memories and I will never stop watching it. I would always have mine playing piano music that I’d be working on at my actual acoustic piano, and it always helped me out a lot. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful video and bringing back such great memories to me from my childhood.
