@@Expunge6667 Yours sounds like a really fun build. I like missiles too. I have not used them very much, except for the hounds, which are great against point defenses because they move too fast. But I just like them because of the visual effect not gonna lie. I am not a big fan of beams though, except for my beamaconda, the Light Saber. It's all beams and it's extremely satisfying. @@The-Man-On-The-Mountain any time lol. I'm going to experiment with the plasma accelerators too. I'm thinking 5 beams to cool off my ship with the large being emissive just to make them easier to hit. With the plasmas I'm thinking efficient with plasma slug. I'm probably going to power them up with synthesis just to add a little extra firepower. I'm on board with unlimited powered up ammo lol. See ya in space.

@@Expunge6667 Well definitely plasmas need a hotas. I only have a controller and I suck with fixed, especially plasmas which are really slow, even engineered. Let alone faoff... 😮‍💨. But I have some all plasmas builds, like a plasmaconda, and it's sooooo satisfying. As you see, I like meme builds lol, you know, all hard points the same weapon and all to one trigger. Forget about PvP of course, but for PvE my builds are really fun. May I suggest the patreus plasmas? I really like them. I have a video of a vulture and patreus plasmas in it (coriolis build in the description but I think they were engineered to rapid fire and multi servos) and if you have got a hotas, you could be a true assassin with that.

That is pretty tempting... I'll have to give it a spin. I remember when all rail gun builds were popular. That's back when they could 1-shot enemy anacondas lol

@@Expunge6667 Yeah, I fell into that trend but I actually didn't know it was a trend, I just wanted to see if it worked. I have several builds and videos with all rails and imperial hammers, an all rails shieldless eagle included (I am a huge fan of shieldless builds because you forget about pips management, although engineering all the hull reinforcements is a pain in the ass, but it pays really really well. But the main reason is if you have a shield, you won't get enough energy, even disabling modules when you deploy the hard points). In fact, I made an all rails anaconda, and as I said in the video description, I think it's a really good build for a long distance sniper in a wing. It can be really deadly.

Yeah I know, but the point was a meme build, like most of my builds, so all cannons. But anyway, meme builds are fun for PvE, especially with a huge prismatic shield. Feels like cheating to be honest. But this build with a beam with exp thermal vent could work for PvP, perhaps.

I am afraid I can't remember. I should have put the coriolis link in the description. I have been out of the game for a year and a half now... But probably they are efficient grade 5 and oversized, 2 of them, and the third is efficient and exp scramble spectrum. But I am not sure, sorry!

I think I uploaded an all frags gunship. I certainly made that build and it was really fun. I think it was all ingame frags, guardian shards included. 7 shotguns is always savage lol

Glad to hear it. I never tried them but I've heard good things about Ions from other homies. This has been my second season (well, one and a half season because I had to buy them in the middle of the past season when these Ride got destroyed) with a pair of 32 crab grab and same problem with the boas, which are textile. Probably my last boa boots, because the customer service from BOA is absolute crap. I am still waiting for them to send me new boas, after almost 3 months. Their guarantee is for life, so maybe in 25 years I'll receive them... I had to spend my money on a replacement in my local shop, because I am an instructor and I can't be without boots. And I was lucky that that shop had replacements and the guys can do it in 20 minutes, and they had steel cables, instead of that garbage of kevlar, which is just for pros who get free stuff or for the people who ride 15 days per season. That's why I liked boa, because it is great for work if you like stiff boots because you can lose it or tighten it up really quick, and as an instructor, and many times riding after the classes, it was a great system. But I am tired of it. Also, these 32 are not bad but the flex is gone. And I have the basic liner, which is not very good, especially at wrapping your shin. They have a really good liner but is more than 200 bucks. But still, there are no wrinkles, no leaks, the sole is in good condition... But as I've said in other comments, nowadays most boots are overpriced crap, I don't know why. Even the stiffness is softer. You can bend a Malamute with your hands. You shouldn't be able to do that with a supposed 10. In fact, you couldn't do it 6 years ago with the Malamute. Now, you can. Two years ago, before buying these Lasso Pro, I bought a pair of Deeluxe. They are supposedly a 7. When they arrived, I put them on, and they weren't even an actual 5. They were bubble gum. I returned them immediately. Maybe I'll try those Ion next winter.

La diferencia es que si los frags o los shard guardianes son el equivalente a escopetas, estos shock cannons serían el equivalente a un fusil de asalto semiautomático. Es decir, cada vez que aprietas el gatillo, sale un disparo, pero tienes la cadencia casi que tú quieras. El único inconveniente es el calor que generan. Bueno, tienen otro, y es que a medida que disparas, van ganando jitter (vamos, que la puntería se desafina), hasta que dejas de disparar durante unos segundos. si no me equivoco, la explicación es que son muy potentes y el retroceso provoca todo ese jitter con disparos muy seguidos. Y aunque no son proyectiles tan lentos como los plasmas, tampoco son rápidos, así que entre eso y el jitter, no son buenos para larga distancia. La parte buena es que hacen mucho daño. Para PvE la verdad es que son muy divertidos, aunque no creo que valgan para algo en PvP... Aunque la gente en PvP te sorprende con cosas rarísimas que en buenas manos, funcionan.

Lol I kind of agree. I like it with kits, but everyone has their own taste. For instance, everybody seems to like the FDL, and I find it atrocious. I also like the space banana (imperial courier), and objectively, it's a crime to the eyes 😂. But I always thought that the classic kits are lazy, low poly, and unimaginative (more fins over fins and things like that).

Yeah hehe. I was so pissed off man. You spend like 4 fkg hundred bucks on supposed high quality boots, and don't even last 90 days. And dude, I am not a pro, I am just a teacher. All brands are making rental quality sht regarding boots with a couple of exceptions (models).

Oh, and BOA, the last time. Yeah life guarantee they say... This season two of my BOAs broke. I emailed them more than 2 months ago. I am still waiting. I had to go to my local shop and pay for a replacement, because I can't work without boots. Y put steel cable, because the textil ones are complete crap. They always break, no matter what they say in their youtube channel (Ride) about there is no difference because they have tested them and blah blah blah. BS. Almost all boots now are designed for tourists who ride a week per season, as much. If you ride at least 100 days, everything is crap.

Sobre todo, bonita. Cuesta un poco pillarle el tranquillo porque es rápida pero no maniobra como otras, pero si te acostumbras, para PvE es muy divertida. I can't remember... I think it's overcharged 5, exp. oversized, and for the small ones, one of them is rapid fire 5 exp corrosive shell, and other one rapid fire 5 exp. incendiary rounds, and the other one I can't remember. I should have put the coriolis build in the description. I did it for other ships, but I forgot to do it with this one. I can't remember because I haven't played the game since more than a year ago now.

"Copy cats"? I wish!! lol. I always found the ED ship designs aesthetically atrocious. They serve a purpose based on a realistic approach (like the Cobra, which is really difficult to shoot at because of its super flat design), but still, I prefer cool designs over practical ones in a videogame. I love the SC ships, although I can't play the game.

Oh yeah the chief is so much fun at PvE, especially against thargoids (well, it was designed for that), at least in Horizons. Now in Odyssey I don't know because I am stuck on a console. But thanks for the comment!

Oh, thanks for your kind words. I am glad to help with ideas and all that. I stopped playing ED because I am a broke bstard and can't afford a PC, so don't expect a video any time soon. I guess that ED is over for me. But I am so happy to see that you enjoy these videos from a crappy PvE player like me hehe. Well, there are many, many possibilities at PvE due to the many different builds you can make. That can provide hundreds of hours of fun. The problem, as always, is the grind. But there is another problem: after you try everything, even the meme builds I make, you get absolutely bored because it's always the same ships and the same behaviours. I guess that PvP is more fun, but I never tried because I am on console and I refuse to pay twice for the internet. To me it's a complete scam. So yeah, I am not playing anymore because I can't afford a PC, and this game is dead on consoles, because there is no more content. There's no point on playing it. Sadly, they are focusing on combat, which is something that ED does extremely well. Maybe it's the best at it. But hardcore explorers like me (and maybe you), are abandoned. The stellar forge is abandoned, and there is no planet tech development, as well as more things to explore and to find. It's all about combat, or fps, in a narrative that at least half of the players don't find interesting. I hope things change in the future.

Yeah, I love it. It's always like in the video, at least. And it's huge, with tons of different lines, some more technical and steeper, some really challenging with cliffs, and many of them like in the video, super chill, soul freeriding, just flowing in pow. Yeah but I am on console, and no hotas, just the controller pad, which is a nightmare for aiming and FAOFF. I know there are players out there who are absolute beasts with a controller, destroying thargs in a sidewinder, but I am not that good, as I always point out. For PvE, gimbals are strong enough I think... I am absolutely useless with fixed. I have many videos here with plasmas and you can see how bad I am, even with fkg rails lol. And in the videos are the good parts lol.

@@The-Man-On-The-Mountain Ahhh. Playing on a controller has to be taxing. Ive tried KBaM, and can easily see where after a good bit of practice itd be great! I couldnt get comfy w it bc i was already fully used to HoTaS (x55). AFA making the switch to full fixxed builds, it just takes alot of time and practice. You just gotta accept that youre gonna suck at combat for like 2-4months, then it just clicks. Then you scramble to chg & eng all of your combat builds to fixxed. Lol What initially pushed me to fixxed builds was 1, pvp, but 2, i just got impatient on waiting out the b1tch glitter (chaff) on any opponent. Another kind of build you might be interested in is fixxed pulse lasers w a railgun on the same fire group. Not quite the beast that all MC builds are, but lets you blend a touch of burst and sustain dmg. And yeah the PAs take a touch of learning. With the kinetic weps, esp on a fixxed mount, the targeting reticle isnt exact. You still have to account for alot of error in it, as well as the evasive maneuvers of your opponent. The other thing is that I never did PvE because I refuse to pay twice for the internet (PS+). To me is a scam and that's why I'll never buy a Sony console again. Well, my intention is to buy a PC someday because there are thousands of really interesting gems for PC, instead of all the mobile crap that floods the play store, which makes my blood boil. It's just embarrassing. So I know that PvE in ED is a whole other world. That's the beauty of this game: for every build, no matter how apparently OP is, there's a counter build. And more important: it's not the arrow: it's the archer. But PvE with a controller? Pffff, I don't even think of it lol. My FAOFF is awful because small inputs with a controller is just impossible. Imagine with fixed... My ED videos are not to brag or something, because I've always admitted without any doubt that I am nothing compared to PvEers. I wouldn't last a minute against an experienced commander, and I know it. But I just wanted to try some "meme builds", or super OP for PvE, because I discovered that they are fun. Not efficient, AT ALL lol, but fun. (Except fixed against elite eagles. God I hate those NPCs lol). I did the transfer but I have no money for a PC. Well, I could buy one, but there are other priorities in my life, so it's the same as not having it. Who knows, maybe in the future I can finally build a PC and resume my game. I hope my 42+billion credits are still in my account lol. I am trying to fill the void left by ED with NMS, but... meh. And I mean, MEH! 😂

@@jdubs2171 By the way, I've seen your channel and we've got something in common, two very crossover sports: you dirt bike, me snowboarding. That's the other thing, for more than 5 months I can't play ED because I live in the middle of nowhere in the mountains, with no wifi lol. And the console is too old to have the mobile share tech. But yeah, my priorities were that, basically snowboarding.

@@The-Man-On-The-Mountain Oh i gotcha man. Plenty of other priorities in life. And E:D is a time sink like no other. I got most of my time in and ships built/eng when i was still a bachelor. Good thing too bc Eng is a time sink within this time sink. Now i can just get on and get right to business, when i have the time. No shame in being a pve CMDR. PvP in this game is a fast and ruthless uphill slog. Very rewarding if you pull off a win tho. Lots of talented CMDRs out there too. I like watching the pvp leagues when they have them. Learn alot. When you do make the switch to PCMR, build your own, homie. Its not that difficult, and you get so much more performance per dollar building it yourself. I love my dortbikes. 250f and a 450RX. Nothing like some hot laps and barely move soreness at the end of the day. Im the rare type that likes wrenching on them just as much as i like riding them. Lol Never tried snowboarding before, its on my bucket list tho.

Yeah they should do many more kinds of kits for every shup.
