Classic Cars are my passion, my Barn Find Porsche 911 restoration is the first in what i hope will become a series. Ive been inspired by TV programs Wheeler Dealer, Car SOS, Flipping Bangers and course Top Gear. There are so many great TH-cam channels like AutoAlex, Ratarossa, Harrys Garage, Number27, The Late Brake Show, Tyrells's Classic Workshop and so many more. I hope you enjoy my effort at making this happen.

That window repair looks like a thing to try and avoid, still something to consider when you wind your windows up and down all the time. Love these cars, I was lucky enough to get an M, just a roadster, but in candy apple red with black roof. I didn't realise just how different the interiors where, the carbon fibre effect is just subtle... or for this car I guess minimalistic... Anyways, I enjoyed seeing how these are put together, plastic fantastic springs to mind, thanks for the video... hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine.
Nice car 👍. Just got a 3.0i 6 speed. Honestly the funnest car ever. To anyone on fence - if you love driving and don't need a backseat.. Just buy one thank me later
I just replaced them on my 1985 911, and it won't start either 😢😮
Get the old ones refurbished, thats what i did in the end. Well worth it. Thanks for watching
I recently did my centre console on my e89. It was getting worn and scratched, so I wrapped it in fake black suede…looks amazing! Nothing wrong with improvements…you got to make it your own! Anyway…your car looks amazing now ! 😎
Great idea, thanks for watching
I’ve recently bought an 04 plate E85 and the most important thing for me was no after market bull. If you’re going to own one keep it original. Those carbon fibre stickers are awful!
Oh, yeah im normally with you on that
That tail was an option on the 3.2 Carreras. It's a different wing to the ones that were used on the Turbos, which are larger to house the intercooler and the rubber lip on the Turbo tail is bigger. BTW, your windscreen wipers are parked on the wrong side, that's why they're sticking up so high. They're meant to park in front of the driver and one of them has a bend so it sits flatter when parked on that side. You need to unbolt the arm from the motor and swing them over to the other side.
Thanks for the info, these wipers dont park at all, i have to manually turn them of at the correct point. Its on the to do list but have no idea whay at the moment
Rome was not built in one day! Well done seems ages since you were entangled in the incredible wiring mess from the third party immobiliser. Get the roof glass replacement and specialist roof work done (f*** the cost) and enjoy………
Thanks for the support, thanks for watching
Excellent, hope the roof job goes well.
Plans are underway, thanks for watching
Looks amazing.
Thanks for watching
Wow mega! Looks like brand new🧨👌☺️
Good to hear, thanks for watching
Car looks superb, enjoyed following the series
Thanks for the positive feedback,
Oh wow it is looking cool. We will get an idea of the costings for these great finishing touches?
Yes, ill defo do a final total, once i can bring myself to look at it!!
If you're looking for someone to look at the roof, try Tony at Soft tops in Coventry,he replaced my 944 convertible top and headliner a few weeks ago and for a 36 year old car it now looks as good as a factory fit . Hope this might help.
Thanks for the tip

Yes, its a fantastic car, been on the back burner for several months but scheduled to get back on it in October. Thanks for watching
Great you riced it
Thanks for watching
take those goofy stripes off the grill
I like them, i get what you mean though,
My friend! Was cleaning the interior of my 83 911. Pulling the carpets in the front, i moved the seats all of the way back. When i finished cleaning, i put away the vacuum and attemped to move the car closer to the wash station. With the seat all the way back, i depressed the clutch, accidentally not all the way in. It jammed into reverse and that's all i had. Thank you so much, i followed your video to a t. The only difference was when i tapped in the pin, i got a wee doused with gear fluid😂. Not sure of your name? But thanks. Owned 911 for 35 years, never jammed it before. So crazy, like you said.
Fantastic to hear, great i could be of use, Shane
Would you consider a Speedster Conversion?
Not in the UK as the weather is just to crazy. shame though as look mega
wouldve soaked the fixings for a few days with proper penetrating fluid not wd40, you should be able to get those sheared fixings out with some soaking in penetrating fluid for a few days then some heat and mole grips , worth a go , Kroil is meant to be one of the best fluids, expensive but works .
ok thanks for the tip
Not a nice job for you. You are doing well. Have a good think or you may end up doing the job twice!
Good tip, will do, thanks
It sounds like the roof guy doesn’t want the job
I agree, will get a new roof guy!
wow , dont envy you the job of putting it back together
Yes, will be interesting
Looks to me as though you have done most of the "Roof Guy's" work for him. Have you considered finishing the job yourself? I know it must seem daunting but you have done a great job getting the roof broken down.
Yes, i might do, having a little break at the moment so will consider it. Thanks for watching
Great recap, hope you keep the 911 content coming been great to watch and very informative well done 👍👍
Thanks for watching, i appreciate it
With your kind of determination and patience, you could pass the London taxi knowledge in six months, but on the Porsche it’s self, you know the ins and outs of that car and I know that you will keep it in top notch🙏🙏🇬🇧🇬🇧🍺🍺
Thanks for the positivity and thank for watching
Not a good advertisement for that lousy upholstery business 1,400 pounds, they should have done the door panels,or atleast contacted you if you wanted them done or not!!🙏🙏🇬🇧🇬🇧
Yes, not sure really, some say its expensive some say its about right.
Love your comment about the 997. “I think about selling it and then I drive it again……..”. Love the channel I have many similar experiences working on old cars. Great when it goes well and you make progress. So frustrating when I make the problem worse. Keep the vids coming please
Thanks for the encouragement and thank for watching
Love watching your videos on the 911. Could have bought one in 1998 for £29950. Absolutel minter one owner from new, belong to an accountant, full service history in guards red with cream leather interior with red piping. Decided not to bother. My biggest mistake ever!
Yes, always easy to say in hindsight though! Thanks watching
I've done this installation many times. I always heat the hub and freeze the bearing, I can then push it in by hand. Make sure you don't damage the stub axle when you are removing the old bearing races, you were really beating on it with that chisel and grinder. Check all the axle nut torques carefully.
Ok thanks, yes i was a bit aggressive wasn't I! Thanks for watching
Although you could buy a nice coupe for 50k you’ve got a great deal of experience getting the car to where it is. Improved it no end. If resale value isn’t important and you are keeping the car then it makes no difference what it’s worth. Thanks for sharing.
Indeed, and i really love the car, even more now i've been through so much with it! Thanks for watching
You didn't try hard this week🙈 I see almost nothing new haha looks fantastic anyway! have a good weekend 🥂
Yes, a lazy week but the recap videos are a nice reminder of how far i have come. Thanks for watching
That's a really good overview of the project, well done.
Thanks for watching
Keep up the good work , great to watch as always 👍
Thank You, appreciate that
Well done bud, thanks to you, the car’s really come together nicely! Great channel, good energy. 🤩🙌
Thanks for the positivity, its great motivation
I love watching your journey with the 3.2. Mine was barnfind as well from my friends dad who had a stroke in 2002 and the car sat for 20 years. I found the resurrection to be quite rewarding like I'm sure you did. Mine had 3 broken head studs so I had to start with an engine pull and full rebuild, which I did myself. Watching your video brings back a few some memories. Playing with the seats, getting the crank sensors backwards, lots of dirt and grime, wheel bearings. I think my costs were around $30K in parts for me to DIY down to the suspension. But for me I'm keeping the car and intend to enjoy it, rack up the miles, and then rebuild it again. I can't say I can do that with new cars given the complexity.
Wow, what a story. I need to get out on a road trip soon to remind me why i do this, probably had a few to many hours repairing than driving this year but now summer is here i can get out on the road.
I have just spent the last 2 days watching all your videos hope the new hot rod build will be on as I love the nationals
Great, thanks for watching, pretty sure ill be doing videos on the NHR build.
Nice collection. Taken from one that has 2 x 997’s, a coupe and a Cab, my favourite is your S class. I had one 15 years ago and regret selling it - great cars. Keep up the good work.
Thanks, glad you like them, yes i do love the S Class, its the most used at the moment
Glad youve got a Ginetta on the way to add to these......👍
Yes, indeed!
Hi Shane. You've got project cars occupying the NHR workshop. What are you going to do now? Lovely problem to have mate. Will come see you at Foxhall or The Hills. All the best Blandy.
Thanks, i have some storage plans!
The sun shining in the UK, you’re funny.🤣 😂😂😂😂
We are on a role at the moment, been sunny for 4 days in a row now!
Nice run through, great to get the history. Presidential S-Class 👌
Yes indeed. it gets lots of love when i'm out driving it.

Thank you 👍
Well that was really interesting. Please keep us updated on your collection as time goes by. Thanks.
Thanks, i will do that
Hi I am new to your channel. I really enjoyed the run down of your cars. I totally understand the need to buy multiple cars rather than 1 mega car. I will have to look back at some of the previous videos now. Hi from Prague.
Welcome aboard! Thanks for watching
Nice. Enjoy them.
Thanks, will do!
Thanks for showing us your collection, very interesting.
Thanks for watching!
Lovely diverse collection of cars. Like you say it’s great to be able to drive a different car when you can. I bet all of them put a smile on your face at some point. That Grey 911 looks stunning. Thanks for sharing
