Congratulations
I agree with you, listening and following along in a physical bible really helps you focus and really gets the word deep into your soul.
Happy birthday 🎂 enjoy your family time ❤️🙏.
Happy Belated Birthday 🥳 I’m going to do this challenge too, really need to clean and organize my house!!

Good job!
No one care! JusT care for your kids !
The Kids have a father too. Bullshit comment
What's wrong with a mom trying to stay fit and healthy?
This is a way for her to take good care of her kids! Moms need to take care of themselves to be able to meet the needs of their family. Good for her! ❤

How is it that tattoos and cuts (ear piercing, I won't go further) don´t apply nowadays and head-covering and modesty, dresses and skirts do?
Right here with you!!
🙂
Where do you get your head coverings?
Yes blessed 😮❤🙏🙏🙏
Good for you sis, I'm Orthodox too God bless you.❤ Are you from Russia?
Hi, I'm Orthodox too from Eritrea, and this video is ❤🥰😍👍🤗nice.
Such a lovely moment. Thank you for sharing.
This is scary! Religious people are monsters.
Never seen kids chase priests, they're nor molly chasing kids themselves
Μπράβο στον πάτερ! Αμήν!
Makes a change for him to be running away from a child rather than chasing after them.
?
@growinggoodings there's been multiple cases of priest molesting children , so the comment isn't to far fetched.
Don't forget about 10 % of priests are involved in child molestation cases
Is there a more iconic duo than kids and the church?
Spreading God's love❤
No need to touch the children. There are games that don't involve touching.
No need to be disrespectful if He doesn’t have the intention you have in your mind? May God guide you❤️
@@Paisiossss the continued touch is a known way to build up trust. There are rules within the bible to stop this. Your attempt to allow this type of behaviour continues is the very reason that horrible atrocious acts are allowed to happen and keep happening. Child abusers often do not think what they are doing is wrong. Including the unthinkable, so be more compassionate to those victims
@@TimetoTimetoTime Show me in the Bible please where it says about this “touch to build trust” please, Jesus loves you❤️
@@Paisiossss ok it's definitely against JC in the bible. It even says it in the 10 commandments. DO NOT WORSHIP IDOLS. JC isn't g-d. G-d is one! G-d needs you to turn away from idols. This is your sign.
@@TimetoTimetoTime May God guide you Brother/Sister❤️ Have a nice day
😂 beautiful ❤
Him holding the cross so it doesnt swing while running is too much 😂 glad you guys have a nice community
Welcome home.
Hello there, you do great with Lent. You can cook beans chickpeas pizza with vegetables pie with vegetables green beans salads etc, about birthdays we celebrate them after pascha big big party.. i wish you and your family the best love from greece
I was expecting more of a Bible based response for the shrimp. A little disappointed that it’s more of a cultural tradition being continued now. Thank you for answering that question, though, Alex! It’s been very interesting to learn!
Apparently part of the reasoning is that shellfish don’t have a backbone or blood
The latin word for meat is cartis. That word does not include fish or shrimp. I am Catholic and fast from meat to remember Jesus' sacrifice for me on Friday. I am not familiar with the orthodox tradition. However, that is why Catholics are still allowed fish or shrimp.
I’m not sure if you’ve addressed this yet, but are you still in touch with people from your old church, and if so, what have their responses been to you becoming Orthodox? My husband and I became Catechumen two weeks ago(!) and we still have a lot of friends who are Protestant and it’s been interesting to see their reactions. Some are nonchalant (“Oh, that’s cool for you guys”) others are a bit more confused (“Isn’t Orthodoxy like Catholicism?”) and others are somewhat more combative (“Praying for you guys to come back to have a ‘real’ relationship with Jesus”). What kinds of conversations have you been having with other Christians in your life? It always makes me feel a little less alone to hear about how former-Protestants-now-Orthodox are handling these kinds of delicate and sometimes stressful conversations.
I’m a convert to Orthodoxy from Reformed Protestantism. Had we not left our church when we did, they would’ve excommunicated us. For them, Orthodoxy is worse than Catholicism (probably because of icons). When I talk about my conversion, I tell people that I’ve been a Christian all my life, but that I didn’t have a relationship with Jesus Christ until I became more Orthodox. It’s pretty hard for them to argue with that.
The baby isn’t coming back to you are you crazy or something. I just had a miscarriage in January and wished I didn’t and here you are asking good to bring the baby back like what
1) this was years ago at this point lol 2) grace did come back to me. I carried her 2.5 more months after that before we did lose her 3) I’m sorry for your loss. It’s tragic.
The experience of an ultrasound when your baby has died is unlike anything else. Somehow there’s also this feeling of grief like I’m so sorry for the ultrasound tech who had to experience telling me as well. Horrible. Horrible horrible. I’m so sorry for your losses. ❤
Yes I feel so sad for the techs and dr that have to see loss so often. It’s just heartbreaking
I think those are all good. I loved sleep overs as a child but they were limited to ppl my mom knew well so we've done the same
Such a beautiful family!! What orthodox religion are u changimg to? I honestly dont know the differences
Orthodox Christian
What became of the little boy crawling into the video on his knees?
Haha went with siblings to play
I hope you feel like you can share more of your story soon ❤
Why are Catholics now calling themselves Orthodox Christian? Why not just say you e switched to Catholicism? I was curious about orthodox Christianity because I hadn’t heard of it before so I did some research and it’s Catholicism..
Lol no the Catholics split from the Orthodox Church in 1054
They don’t believe the all the same things. Which is why the Roman Catholic Church left the Orthodox Church. Simple history will show you that and if you ask any orthodox or Catholic person if they are the same, they will say the same thing.
Yeah, Orthodox Christianity is veeeeeeery different from Catholicism. We deny the infallibility of the Pope for example. Roman Catholics added a clause to the Nicene Creed which we deny as well. Roman Catholics developed the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception and the assumption of the Virgin Mary, two doctrines the Orthodox also deny so…. Yeah, they are very different from us.
Catholic and Orthodox are two very different churches from another background, history etc. Soo Orthodox Christian are Orthodox and Catholic Christian are Catholic.
Read for example about "filioque" one of the biggest difference in Catholic and Orthodox theology
I agree with you but currently mostly wear pants. I’ve been trying to find dresses that are modest, comfortable, and still cute. It’s way harder than it should be! I’m in Canada, with far fewer options. I checked out the Super Cute Dresses that you like to wear. Apparently they are very popular! I haven’t seen a print yet that I really love, so I will keep looking.
Totally agree about finding options that are affordable too. Thrifting helps but that’s only helpful if you have great thrift options near you which I know many don’t have
I would love to learn more.
I like the TH-cam videos better than Instagram. I would love to hear more about how switching to Orthodox church works for you and your family. I'm also interested in your 30 day gardening challenge, how long is your growing season? And what times of year do you plant? Are there any times of the year that are too hot or too cold? Just curious how different gardening is in the west vs the east.
In Arizona we can garden year round! Here’s the gardening challenge ebook fragrant-lab-26677.myflodesk.com/umybcq0drd
Love your Channel ❤😊

Hi! I found your IG page randomly and saw that you are inquiring into the Orthodox Church. We left our reformed church last April and have been attending a local Orthodox parish ever since. I’m curious, how has your family reacted to this? It has been kind of a challenge with mine, and it doesn’t help that we are living with my parents while we build a house 🙃 I’m excited to follow along with your journey as we are walking through ours as well 🙏🏻🩷
My family is not religious and Matt’s is just nominally Catholic so we haven’t had issues with family. Just internet and some irl acquaintances
Amber. Hi. Just wondering why you left reformed theology? Thank you.
