Love this woman for her music and indeed, now, for her love of animals, the latter being something I've just now learned about her. Beautiful singer and a beautiful talker. Willie Nelson apparently it was who said that there are only two types of men in the world: those who love Emmylou Harris and those who have not yet met her. That sounds just about right to me....

Emmylou? - Yeah, she's pretty cool.

Poor thing never even met me.😢

I saw her at the Palamino Club in North Hollywood back when she was still brunette. Palamino had just added a patio where you could watch the show through a glass window. Before going on the main stage, Emmylou came out to the patio and did a couple songs for the "patio people" before heading to the main stage. She was about 6 feet away singing for us. She's still GREAT.
