Where do I buy that white plastic bags
Hi! what all options are there to grow under the tunnel? i'm thinking of onions and beets under mine.
They are really tasty.
Hi! Sir, I'm interested to try the said 3 sisters but i dont know how to do it. I mean, what to plant first then what is next and of course its planting distance between hills and between rows?
I was watching videos on growing artichoke, and if it’s possible to grow them from store bought organic. I had to come back to YOUR video bc your info was so good - to see what a good companion would be. I see conflicting info bc they are heavy feeders and large rooted. But some say sunflowers are good companion and IMO, that is absolutely NOT true. I could be so wrong though so wanted to check with you. Heck, I’m going to attempt to dig up the sunflower roots of mine. I was given it by a friend, and they said it was a cherry Tom plant LMBO - talk about a surprise! 😮 I gotta move that thing or get rid of it which is a whole diff prob in itself bc I’m sure seeds are everywhere in that same area. Shoot fire - I didn’t think about that. Back to the drawing board. I digress… what is a good companion for artichoke in your opinion?
With you being 5b, could I grow same things as you BUT just monitoring the temp differences and frost dates Also, I assume you got the same 2-3 nights of close to frost. We did have 1 night that got to 31. Would that be considered a “first frost” or does it have to be at those temps for longer than just day or two? I want to do odd foods that are most often not common. asparagus, brussel sprouts, eggplant and artichokes. Think theyll do okay if I plant those now.
This is amazing!!!! Just freaking A M A Z I N G!!! Thank you so much!! Where on your sketch here would you suggest that strawberries be placed? PS… this was my first year and I ended up with more of a crowded closet of a hoarder 😂😂 Gonna 3x the size this year to avoid that same issue lol
THANK YOU!!!!! You made it so much easier to understand!!
Well God bless you for showing us that. I am looked so forward to next spring.
Man... I need to more systematic stuff lol
You said you have watermelons on one side and cantaloupe on the other. Do the vines every get close to each other at the top?
@stevenbruno7739 yep, it didn't seem to bother anything.
😊
Best companion plants
I want to try a pumpkin tunnel, and see if I can “carve in place” and have a jack o lantern tunnel… my kids would love it but it seems like work 😅 Still want to try….
I love the melon tunnel, so much better then on the ground.
You have a special talent for making everything entertaining!
i'm surprised the melon aren't too heavy for a hanging set up
We do this with gourds :)
I don’t think the Creator is very pleased with the framed hanging on your wall. But I KNOW it would please him immensely if you actually read what He has to say on the subject in Genesis Ch 1 Verses 24-31 👍 ❤
Their still not complete ready yet
Amazing! Did you end up putting the poly on? I would like to start melons with poly. Guessing the TPosts would be the issue… cover them with tennis balls? Thanks for sharing brother!
I use synthetic for vineyards and fruit trees only, outside of that flowers i will give synthetic as i dont care im not eating them. For all my raised beds for vegetables I use 100% organic, typically worm castings, azomite, a organic granular fertilizer anything that I get a good price on, espoma, jobes, perfect blend etc. Chicken Manure pellets im not real picky, just anything around a 4 -4-4 or 5-5-5 ratio wlll also add kelp meal and typically keep an eye on my beds with frequent soil tests. I have had to dial back on phosphorous because it has been building up really heavily in my beds and i now have a excessive level of it.
nice garden .im doing the same but my garden is not yet green as yours .lol
Where do you get the fencing that your tunnel is made of, and what is it called
I believe this is cattle panels, and you can get them at any farm supply store
Does garlic and onions harm every plant in trifolieae from (unranked clade) inverted repeat lacking clade in legume family. Or is it just peas and beans?
How do you prevent chipmunks from climbing the tomato plants and chewing on the tomatoes?
Thank you for the info I’m growing watermelon on a hoop and was wandering when to pick them.thanks again
By my standards the melon you picked was not ripe.
I love your melon tunnel 💖 what a great idea!
I have some sugar melons that are smaller but there the late starts, what if I let those go unit the tendrols and stem are dried. Great post also
So if the tendrols are dry and the stem partially dry then that should be ok for both kinds
Hi what kind of twine do you use to create the pepper trellis and what kind when you tie up your tomato plants? I’ve found everything from jute to nylon braided string, but not the plastic looking string. Thanks!!
Great video!
This was very helpful, thank you for sharing it!
how many times can you harvest each plant ? How long does it take to grow back for the next harvest ?
Not one looks ripe enough to me snore sun exposure perhaps
So awesome your watermelon tunnel, I love it ❤❤
Excellent and to the point/brief and comments were also very helpful. The summary screen shot was extremely helpful! Thank you.
What was the type of meters used for the watermelons?
Last season (my first season growing) I planted onion with peas and couldn't understand why my peas went from happy to 💀 makes sense now! Thanks!
Me wondering if should dig up my green bean plants to move them over to the corn 🤔
Not just potatoes, they eat my plums, raspberries, pomegranates, apples, currants etc., and now we have Japanese nettles as well. 😡😡
Thank you ! I now know what to do for next year
Steve Buscemi X Matthew Brodrick
I have a 25’ tunnel in my backyard that I’ve been trying to decide what to do with. You’ve convinced me that it needs to be a watermelon tunnel!! Thank you!!
"Is it really activism if you're not doing activism in the place where it matters?" EXACTLY. When I lived in Echo Park (iykyk) hipsters would protest and block traffic for issues which *everyone* in that community was already in support of. One time I'd suggested they go into the OC to protest instead...nothing but crickets.
From experience, the 3sisters isn’t good for sweet corn, it’s very difficult to pick the corn without damaging the squash or pumpkins, but works great for corn grown to dry or popcorn.
😃🎉 Excellent I subscribed to your channel 🙏
Super helpful Sir, thank you ❤🙏
