Hi Cody. How many melons would you say you get per cattle panel section in your melon tunnel? I am looking to up a short watermelon tunnel in the backyard.
You typically should get 2-4 Melons per plant, and I plant 2 rows staggered on a 30" wide bed, spacing the plants at 24" down each row essentially giving me a plant every 12"" running down the bed. So, If I have a 50' bed, I should get at least 100 Melons if all conditions are perfect. The tunnel covers 2 beds, and can plant Melons in that bed as well (I plant cantalope and honeydew melon on the second bed), giving a total of 200 Melons total on a 50'tunnel. Hope that helps🤙
