Literally planted my eggplant next to the tomatoes yesterday. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Not too late to move them - thank you, this was timely!

Does garlic and onions harm every plant in trifolieae from (unranked clade) inverted repeat lacking clade in legume family. Or is it just peas and beans?

How far apart would they be considered as companion planting?

Typically I think of it as in the same bed. However, depending on the layout, that could very a little. I would say anything within 10ft should be considered, at least when it comes to pests.

I noticed that with garlic and onion, they were both inhibiting legumes. What pest repellant is safe to grow around legumes? Do herbs like basil or thyme work?

Basil and Rosemary work well with Legumes. Thyme and Basil shouldn't be planted together if you can help it because they have different growing requirements. Hope that helps!

@@SimplisticFarms is it coz the basil will shade the thyme? I have these 3 in pots but I also want to grow them in a relative's plot in the countryside along with vegetables.
Well probably except the rosemary, I read it don't take wetness well and our rainy season in the tropics is really wet.

@@nunyabiznes33 the thyme actually requires a much dryer soil than the basil. So it would be best maybe to grow the basil in the beds and the thyme in a pot.
