AWESOME PROJECT!!! im married to "steffy" . ive talked about building a crew cab jeep like this except i was going to marry 2 truck cabs to do it! i had 2 1933 chevy truck cabs at one time in the distant past, that i had planned to make a crew cab with. ive also emailed a whole bunch of fiberglass reproduction body manufacturers in hopes of finding one that will build a 4 real door body for me. im in love with the sexy curves the automobiles had n the 1930's but i also love SUBURBANS and i love JACKED UP 4X4'S SO THATS JUST WHAT I WANT, A JACKED UP 1930'S 4 DOOR 4X4! Hey that is going to be a sweet rig once it's done. Guys I won't tell you if you did anything "wrong" because everywhere and people kills fleas in different ways. I will tell what I would have done: pressure washing the surfaces. It's way easier to work and it will give you an indication of any problem with the substrate you're going to weld. Can't wait to see her once she's done. Good job and regards from South America.
nice work lads, wing it, weld it, and she will be fine. looking good so far. I live In England, but we have strict rules on what we can do, even stricter rules with our yearly vehicle tech test called a MOT In England. I doubt the jeep would pass the test here sadly

try using the back part of cherokee rear you cut off to complete roof and splice it to top of pickup cab to make roof all cherokee... try using wagoneer mounts on the C-10 part to make body line match up better...
Hello Hello From West Coast Of Canada!!! That Jeep is going to be a beast when your done big guy. Just stumbled onto this build, been contemplating the same thing for my truck. It's funny how mad people can get about other people's stuff. How many old cars and trucks just rotted away because no one wanted to do the work to fix them up? Fun fact, four door full size J trucks were sold from the factory in Australia for a while. Looks to me like you boys are doing a factory resto. 😁
I hate and love your build at the same time - hate bcs this is a really close build to something i've been dreaming of for well over a decade (but using a J20, for one, other differences to be seen as you continue the build) but I'm happy to see how you progress through the project - good luck!

All the best from Richard.
It's yours and you can do whatever you want to it. However I think it would look awesome if you take the roof from the truck and turn it around where the overhang is facing the back. I've had several of the older J 10s 20s and even 30s as well as a 54 Willy's 1 and a quarter ton implement retriever that i ate up the swamps of west central Florida with.
