Important Note for Gamers! Some games use anti-cheat software, which means you'll need to boot into Windows to play them. Don't worry-this process is super easy! Personally, I use an external hard drive to boot into Windows, and it works perfectly. With this setup, I can enjoy any game I want without limitations. If you're looking for a simple solution, this is a great option to consider! Happy gaming!
You can boot into Windows (either from your internal SSD, a microSD card, or an external drive, all of which are pretty easy to set up) and play the games directly, or use GeForce Now. When the games are under $5, if you want to play them, you can get them to run on the Steam Deck. Given their low cost, the workarounds might be worth it.
I have a dual boot setup with Windows. It's really easy to set up, even from an external hard drive. And when a game only costs a few bucks, it's hard to pass up!

Why do the recommendations include the Battlefield games when they're mostly incompatible with the Steam Deck, especially their anti-cheat?

Plus these 2 are really bad compared to earlier games in the franchise. There is no reason buying/playing them, no matter the price.
This dude: "If you don't have this game in your library you shouldn't be allowed to have a Steam Deck."
Also this dude: "I haven't played this game."
Half-life.
Your list is riddled with EA titles that are unplayable offline. Why?

The steam deck is so bad that you have to play old games at 30fps on an 800p screen is brutal when every other handheld is better
Black ops 3 runs at 90 fps at medium settings
