Legends Luke was what Anakin was always trying to be. Grandmaster Luke rebuilt the Jedi Order. Anakin wouldn't survive Abaloth.

The best version of luke that we have seen versus the best of anakin is defo a win for anakin. But luke after years of being a master/grand master would surely be a greater jedi. Maybe if we are only talking lightsaber skills anakin would still win, but luke would be far more experienced. Much like yoda. Yoda's true power was never in his lightsaber.

It could go either way and depends on the type of fight. Anakin was a seasoned warfighter and duelist but Luke was straight up strongest/ gifted Jedi.

Luke’s fight was the best because the opponents he was fighting were formidable opponent Darth Vader and Ray’s opponents were weak easy to defeat. Remember, those robots were designed to kill those dudes that were in the hallway or not they’re soft.

I much preferred cgi Yoda. He could fight like a mthr fckr. That’s one of the things that puts me off most of the StarWars Disney have done. Every alien looks rubbery. I don’t mind it if it’s just an extra in the back ground but if it has to talk and stuff I much prefer cgi characters. For example I wish they made Cade Bane a cgi character. Or his face at least. They just didn’t have him looking right. You could tell he was made from latex and that the fake teeth in his mouth were too big for the actors mouth and he couldn’t articulate his mouth in a natural way when talking and it just detracted from the actors performance because I kept thinking how unnatural it looked. Same with the Twi leks lekku in mandalorian. They didn’t move like they were made of flesh. They moved like something very light and spongey. All they would have had to do to stop that was add a bit of weight to inside the tip of each lekku. That would have gave it a more natural looking movement. I’m aware that’s just nit picking but I feel like these little details make a difference. If you’re watching something and it keeps popping in to your head that something just doesn’t look real or natural you’re not buying in to the movie/show the way you’re supposed to. In the sequel snoke was cgi and he looked great. You bought in to him being a real character. A pity everything else about the movies where garbage.

Besides the training the time periods what they went through we never seen prime anakin that was taken from him he never reached his potential now if he would have luke would only be about 75 to 80% of anakins potential

We need these guys to do a proper Knights of The Old Republic series. More jedi, more sith, more mandalorians, so much to run with.

Vader by a lightyear. That is sheer terror barreling through. And also the scene that stole the show and elevated a mediocre movie to a memorable one.

Luke defeated a Vader above Anakin. Luke is more defensive while Anakin is more offensive and can be arrogant

I disagree only for one reason. Anakin was trained, and therefore significantly constrained in his force capabilities because he only knew what he was taught. Granted he was able to use his abilities to a great degree, but Luke had to learn almost everything himself meaning he would have experimented more and in the EU he had significantly greater affinity in the force than Anakin ever achieved.
