Hi! I see you're not really active at all, hope you're doing well. If you happen to see this comment I ran into a problem with the denoising. Basically I only see it working in the viewport. In the final render I can see it says "Denoising" after the last sample but it's still not really denoising at all. WHA DA FAK? Please help dawg!

Great tutorial, one thing I advise when making a tutorial is to display Keys Pressed in Blender, its an option that helps people a lot when misunderstanding certain letters or words

31:16 I actually screamed. 31:43 I screamed louder. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain all this. I started using blender 4 years ago and after 2 years I already felt like I knew the shader editor like the palm of my hand, which is the only reason why I didn't want to switch to Octane. Despite it looking so freaking cool just having all my nodes switched and renamed seemed unnecessary. Now I get it, they're fundamentally more complex. Definitely gonna be checking some of your videos dude, thank you so much!

Don’t you still need to attach physical drives of footage into the home base computer to be able to edit them remotely? So this couldn’t work as a set up for a full time digital nomad editing raw footage like every week and never returning home. They would have to mail it to the house and have someone plug it in. Technically they could send files over the internet so public WiFi, cellular, or Starlink, but wouldn’t that take too long to make sense if they shoot a ton of raw footage? It seems this system would actually work out better for remote 3D renderers of short films that don’t create any actual camera footage. They can just create and download 3D worlds and assets with a remote connection to their home pc workstation. Although, they’d probably want to be able to scan and load in their own assets for editing same-day. Do you know if it would be possible to edit one single project on the laptop, remote controlling the pc, while using files that are being referenced on separate SSD’s connected to both the home computer for old files and the remote laptop for new files? 🤔

Does it work to bring in models from the asset browser, and append other files that have been modeled in other versions of Blender (particularly 4.1 or 4.2) and then just do lighting / shading in Octane? And did you notice or run any tests on comparing render speeds? Cycles vs Octane?

right, I can't just ditch the digital notes, it's easier to me to collect screenshots with a little side notes, and use pen and paper for my thought process while working, so I don't have to keep everything in my had all the time. because jumping back and forth from software to software is challenging at times. So yeah, the classic hand written todo's, quick things that take up just a couple sentences is the fastest way to keep organized

Hello! I have a box to which I am making a material that on the outside is something like what you show in your tutorial, and on the inside it has a solid color, but I am having problems because to do this I think you have to use the twosidedsign node, which does not support material attribute mode. Do you know how to solve this? Thank you very much in advance!
