Hi Paul. Great review. I have tried several of these. For what they are, you can't beat them. That heater is top notch. I agree about the best you can get. But I guess you can get a slow one every now and then. Everything looks really good. Take care.

Looked good I agree the chili was a bit loose I prefer mine a little thicker but that one looked good for putting on a hotdog 🌭 and I’m thinking maybe the oxygen absorber fell off in the package when you opened it because it looks like a outline of one on the bread I need to get hold of one of those Wunderbars enjoyable review as usual 👍🏾

Lived off of MRE's for months outdoors back in 2018 after a Hurricane. My absolute favorite menu item. Worst was probably Veggie Lasagna, would rather starve than eat those.

Chili mac, usually A good meal, regardless of year. Simple, yet filling and functional. Yours may show some age, LOL? Extra water never hurts FRH, despite instructions. Sometimes it helps. Salt, helps, if any hope at all. Meal looks good, just does show some age. Cool review. Glad you had some fun at least. Another cool piece of history. Peace, John. I love those little ground red pepper pouches. I have yet to find any in the supermarket as hot as that stuff. Used to come with the chili w beans MRE

Glad you are feeling better stay safe out there and I think the package arrived the other day it’s from California so I’m sure it’s probably from you since I don’t know anyone that lives there my uncle moved to Phoenix from California a few years ago I haven’t gotten the package yet because my car battery is dead and I have to get another and I haven’t been to my mother’s house to get it and as usual the review was enjoyed 👍🏾

You only get around 5 years shelf life on MRE's? Unless they been frozen for all them years.
