After a month or so away we come back with a workshop update, Cars have come, cars have gone and cars have sold. Progress is made on both the Texaco and the CAM shipping RS500s and we have a cracking white 2wd sapphire in for a service.

This has been in the same ownership for the last 27 years Maintained regardless of cost and pampered Only 4 previous owners and covered just 71,000 miles

Finally we get a look at why the bikes were sold and what replaced them. We take a look around this stunning genuine ETCC RS1600i race car. The car which won back to back TTs in the 80s is finally back from New Zealand and back in the UK at Paul Linfoot Racing.

After a few weeks away we are back with a short update of what we have been up to and what is coming next.

After 27 years left in a barn we finally get an MOT on the RS500 barn find and we get a visit from CMS Porsche who spent 2 LONG days carrying out a full paint correction and detail and how good does that look! We are completely blown away by just how good this car looks and cannot thank the guys Adam and Tim enough for all the effort and hard work put in. Once again we appreciate all your comme...

It may look like the same barn find RS500 but its not! After seeing our previous preservation work we heard them 3 little words....CAN YOU JUST..and here it is...the latest RS500 underbody preservation. Parts are back from the plater and powder coaters and we have a look at Pauls latest 1:1 scale model.

Episode 4 of the Sierra rs Cosworth barn find series! The shell is complete and the parts are back from powder-coat. We fit all new bushes, bearings and joints to make this iconic car drive as good as the day it left Tickford. The engine goes back in along with the cleaned up "as new" hoses. We are well on the way to having this back on the road in time for the owners 80th Birthday! Once again ...

We visited America this week for the PRI show and chatted to the guys behind the SEMA Sierra XR4TI that stole the show. Jacob gives us his reasons behind the car and talks us through all the smaller details often missed at first glance. The workmanship on this car is second to none and really has to be seen in person! We are assured no RS500/Cosworth was harmed during the making of this car! On...

As we continue with the "light" restoration of the barn find RS500 we ask ourselves did we go too far? The car was stripped to a shell and cleaned and protected underneath whilst the running gear is sent for powder coating.
