STARLINK MINI is AMAZING!!!
มุมมอง 4712 หลายเดือนก่อน
Used my Starlink mini to connect to my current home WiFi network so I could use the same network so that all of my home devices would stay connected. I use an old router to connect the Starlink mini to my router since it’s far away from my isp’s hub in my garage. Please comment if you have questions! Tips for ICON EV golf carts (lithium) plus a Navitas controller installation tip!
Lithuimrhino battery! Got a 65ah on the Black Friday sale.. and I know that display screen... :D put mine in the dash cubby using the center screw on the lower trim stip at the edge..
Mine is also an I60L.. if I get 15 miles around the lake on our camping trips.. I'm good.
Unfortunately that’s not it. I think a lot of battery companies are using that display. But thank you for commenting and supporting the channel. Really appreciate it! I will say what battery it is in a few weeks.
What did you pay for the battery you have?
My main man!! 😊
👊
Maybe I missed it. But Icon has a electric parking brake. If the BMS cuts out the parking brake locks up and throws people out of the cart. Very dangerous. Did you fix that or just ignore it? Remember the parking brake is normally lock with no power and power unlocks it. So a controller wont fix that problem. Not a great design.
Did it end up fixing it. I literally have 2022 plaid just like you and it smells exactly the same
black car wont look like that for long. mine is screwed after a year and needs paint correction.
This was helpful. What screw was missing from the stand and did you just use another and jerry rig it? What size screw? Hard to assemble without instructions? Thanks.
Thanks I’m glad it made sense as I felt I was going too fast lol. The misquitos were biting worse than ever for some reason so I tried to be quick. You don’t need instructions to put it together even though they should come with the stand…it’s pretty obvious how to put it together after looking at everything. The screw that was missing was one of the screws at the end on the neck where you connect it to the Starlink mini. If you do buy this stand just know I personally never used the black knob that came with it that I’m guessing lets you adjust the stand on the fly for how much pitch you want. I just found a screw in my toolbox that worked just like the first screw that goes in the neck. It’s a long thin screw. Then I tilted the starling mini north on the stand and then tightened it up to leave it that way forever. I hope that makes sense but please let me know if you have any more questions!

Wheels look great, what model are they? I know it says 21” BC Forged but what model? Thanks in advance
Try car pro reload in between washes works great a little pricey!
beautiful!!!!!
I would not keep lithium plugged in all the time. Lithium batteries should stay in the range from 80 - 20%. 80 - 20 would be 80% DoD (Depth of discharge). The lower the DoD, the longer the lifespan.
hey can u link me to the back real lip spolier u got
Any idea why the fan turns on when I plug it in then off a moment later? It won't charge at that point and charging light is on.
Must be nice to have money
Oh man that car looks nice!
THANK YOU BIG TIME!!
Great Vid! What rims are those on your Tesla?
I appreciate it! Thanks for watching! Here is a link to the video I made for the BC Forged wheels to make sure I covered all the details. I get nothing for the referrals, but I personally truly believe the place I bought them from is the only way to go. If you watch the short video you’ll see why I feel that way. Of course just let me know if you have any further questions. th-cam.com/video/J0b3Pa8dmrk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=mUsm10_KYAYVqpHf
Model 3 has this problem too but it diesnt have a hepa filter so...
Is there a way to flash the neos controller to get to 20 mph?
Yes for sure but you’ll need a programming cable. What city and state are you in?

I’m not making it up when I tell you I was thinking earlier TODAY that I bet someone would think that lol. Now I know why I was thinking about it lol because someone else was going to notice it I guess 😂
One factor I considered when buying my Icon I40L was weight. The 105AH lithium only weighs 79 lbs as apposed to the 270 lbs of optional battery sources. That’s extra cargo weight or larger passengers.
Yes very true. This is why wheel spacers help a lot because with the lithium you don’t have the same massive center of gravity weight that the cart originally had with the traditional lead acid batteries.
Ho did you get this to work? I tried to download sounds to Boombox and could not get it to work!?
boombox? you have to follow instructions
Transformer: Electron Domination
Did you put your own lift kit on your cart?
Sorry I missed this comment. It came factory with the lift because it’s an i60L. If it was just an i60 then it would come lowered. Same with the 4 seater Icons that go by i40 and i40L.
Nice what is the cost thanks
Does your icon make a noise while accelerating? Then goes away when foot comes of throttle. I’m assuming it’s just the electric motor doing it’s thing. It’s my first cart
No it never has. Can you elaborate on this noise?
Your cars look brand new
Thank you very much!!
Brilliant Fan Idea!
Appreciate it!
Great video, the rear seat handles are a great idea. Where did you get the headrest pads in your future videos?
Any rub with this offset?
ZERO rub
What size tire is it on that rim? Saw your link to the tire but not sure which size. Love the setup. Also what fuse did you run the mirror turn lights tov
Thanks! The size should be the size that it links directly to if you follow this link: amzn.to/3OwRtUp but I’ve given the details below to make sure you get the right ones: 14 x 7 4-4 bolt 3:4 offset Matte black For the turn signals, if you go into the Buggies gone wild forum and look for a username under Atrain and find some of his posts on Icon or his “threads” I think they call them in that forum, you will see he gives step by step instructions on how to install them. I haven’t done them in a few years now so not sure exactly what fuse we jumped into but I honestly believe it’s just any open one underneath the cupholders. But I would do my research and make sure that I’m correct before doing it. Thanks for watching and the support. Please let me know if you need anything else!
@@yourtechtoday9238 thanks for your reply!!
Is the tire size for that rim P235/60R14 96T That’s what it links to. Love the setup 🤙
@@jsmmao thank you! Yes that’s the correct tire size. Here is the direct link just in case. Don’t forget you’ll need to raise your fender flares slightly. It’s super easy to do and nobody will see the old holes underneath the fender flares. The reason you need to do this is because eventually when you have a few people on the cart it’s going to rub when you turn. Raising the fender flares is a lot easier than trimming them please just trust me. But once again, totally worth it to have this set up. amzn.to/3SsWqii
@@yourtechtoday9238 sounds great! Thanks
Really wonder if Tesla will be adding more colors to their Tesla model S plaids. They’d sell me on a Ferrari yellow or sunset/blazing orange color with black rims
It Look like Midnight Silver !
For the ceramic tint on the top of the car and the windshield what percent did you use ? It looks great 😎
Damn thats a shiny car and love the rims 😍
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
Autobots, roll out!
THIS RIGHT HERE ⬆️
😂😂 not all day unless you live in Chicago in freezing 🥶 weather currently hundreds of Teslas cannot move 😂😂 NO CHARGE
Yes it’s been tough for people in that area because a lot of people don’t have chargers at home and thus they have to Supercharge. But I’d say 95% of people in the country charge at home and don’t rely on supercharging as their daily way of charging. Simply plug in at night and the car is topped off every day. And the best thing is not having to get out in the cold and pump gas! Too cold for that these last few weeks!! Thank you for watching!
teslas have also the most advanced heatpumps, they work so efficiently that you can only barely see a range drop
FACTS!!!
wow those rims looks awesome on the black 👍👍👍👍👍👍
THANK YOU!
The girl's reaction is obviously hilarious but the guy holding his breath is great too lol
Thanks for sharing all this great information! I recently got an Icon 40L, the stock tires are a bit shot from the prior owner running them at 6psi... I was interested in getting the same setup you have but worried about going up another inch from the tire diameter (i.e., 12x10.5x12 stock to 235/60/14 - 2 inches taller, 1 inch effective additional lift). The tires would also be a little more than and inch less wide (10.5" to 9.3"). The stock cart already feels a little squirrely with handling, how is the handling and ride comfort with your current setup vs. the stock? Thank you in Advanced!
Thank you for watching! Always happy to hear when people appreciate me sharing some knowledge. Let me say first that I have the 2 inch spacers on all 4 wheels. That helps a ton with keeping the cart grounded. Just keep in mind when you buy the spacers your wheels will stick out further so when you drive in the rain water or mud will kick up onto the cart more often. That is a sacrifice I’m willing to make personally. I was the one that started using these car tires on our lifted Icon golf carts originally and a lot of people have followed suit. I’ve heard no complaints from anyone so I’m suspecting they’re as happy as I am. I’m about make video showing how well my tires have held up over the years so stay tuned for that. Plus they look awesome IMO! But as far as comfort goes, I will admit that these car tires are probably a little rougher than the OEM setup. But once again it’s minimal in my opinion. One thing I learned is to keep the pressure in the car tires at 15 psi. There is not enough weight on this golf cart, especially considering I have lithium, to make the car tires flex if you keep them at regular capacity. So if you keep them at 15 psi you will get some cushion out of them and I’ll show in my upcoming video the tires do not wear any worse from keeping them that low. I hope this makes sense but more importantly I hope it helps. As always, I have links to the wheels, tires and spacers in the video description. But don’t hesitate to let me know if you need anything further! Best of luck!
did you play varys in game of thrones?
lol! That is COLD! Lol!! 😂 😂😂 THANKS FOR WATCHING because as mean as that is I LOVE Game of Thrones! But after saying something like that I definitely deserve a like and subscribe lol!

I want to Drive One Soo Bad! They are really expensive though. like 130k out the door?
110k
MSRP is $89,990. Tesla doesn’t add any additional markups. So it all depends on your state’s tax rate and license fee. Not crazy expensive considering it’s the fastest production sedan ever made. That is out of reach for most people though.
Yes this comment is correct. They were originally near 150k back in 2021 so $89k sounds like a bargain now with the all you get. But like he said, it is still a lot of money.
@@yourtechtoday9238 was my comment deleted? I don’t see it anymore, who is correct? How much is the 200mph Tesla Plaid?
It’s about 89k-91k
